Therapist

Catherine contacted me really quickly after my initial contact. She arranged to call me to discuss her services and was very understanding and although I have not yet had my first session I am looking forward to working with her.

Counselling

I’ve had about 6 sessions with catherine and she has helped me lots already. She is very kind and helpful, a really great first experience of having a counsellor!

Counselling

Although I have only just started my sessions with Catherine, she has been lovely and welcoming and uses a person-centred approach rather than a guideline approach most therapists use!

I hope to keep working with Catherine as she’s very empathetic and tries to put herself in your shoes, not just see it from an outsiders view. This helps me feel more comfortable and relaxed when talking to her!

My work is very flexible I enjoy working from home. I feel comfortable and at ease in my surroundings which I feel will really be an asset to my clients. I love meeting people. I love the fact that my clients allow me to be a part of their journey. I feel very priveledged. It's wonderful when counselling ends and I get huge appreciation from my clients it really is very rewarding.

My dream for many years. I have done many years of counselling in the voluntary sector. Now with the world's problems re covid, I really want to continue with my gift which is counselling. I actually made the leap and have opened my own business.

I'm empathic, non-judgemental, patient and transparent. I'm very flexible and sometimes I will actually negotiate prices. As a client has only just said to me ''you really cannot put a price on counselling''

Yes you can have talk therapy. Whether it is via mobile, landline, zoom or even Whatsapp your choice. You the client is in control here.

I'm now doing face to face counselling with safety measures put in place. Each client has to have a covid test before booking the counselling session. Masks will be worn by the client and counsellor. Social distancing will be practised within the session.

I am a Counsellor who can help you cope with: a mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. an upsetting physical health condition, such as infertility. a difficult life event, such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress.

Some people will figure out how to deal with bereavement with the help of family and friends, while others may need the support of a professional counselor. I am a Bereavement counselors Im trained and qualified to help you process the feelings you have as you go through the stages of grief - denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance - and adapt to your new life.

Relationship counseling (also known as couples counseling) is a very effective form of talking therapy. Sessions take place in a safe space and look to improve communication and resolve issues within an intimate relationship.
I specialize in this type of counseling I strive to listen empathically to both people within your relationship

The aim of your anger management counselling is to help you to explore the reasons for your anger and find ways to control it. There are a number of different approaches that may be used for counselling, including psychodynamic, humanistic and behavioural Approaches.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) has been shown to be effective in treating substance abuse issues.7 CBT helps the individual to manage their thought patterns, essentially controlling negative thought patterns that may lead to substance abuse or other destructive behavior.
