My dogs were taken great care of while we were on holiday. One of my dogs is clearly not the most trusting and wasnt willing to interact. But it was handled professionally and kindly without issue. I 1,000,000% recommend Paws 4 a Break! They have taken such good care of my old dog, Harry. We had tried every kennel in the area and Harry would come back, hurt, stressed and unhappy so I knew this time round he needed something special and special is what we found. My old boy will not be going any else now, they have taken such great care of him and I know Harry was happy because his tail hasn’t stopped wagging. For the first time in a long time I’m not worried about leaving him with these fabulous people! Highly recommend. Lovely lady highly knowledgable and really made sense. We had some Wow moments on our first session. Really helpful left loads of literature to accompany her consult so we didn’t have to remember it all. Loved the way she taught through games and fun. We all enjoyed it, even the kids could join in. Martin and Jane have been brilliant. They accommodated all 3 of our pooches including the giant Ted for the weekend. It's been so reassuring having all the pictures on Facebook knowing he was happy and not anxious, they even did a bit of lead work with Gracie whilst out and about. although Ted was happy to be home it was a greeting as if we had been away for a day not the weekend which is brill! We left our elderly dog Cassi for a week with Jane & Martin and couldn't be more pleased with how she was cared for. They catered for her every need including administering her medication, as she was unable to climb the stairs she slept with Martin nightly in his 'man cave', was treated to meals with them & lots of cuddles! We was kept up to date with photos from them & nothing was too much trouble. We cannot thank you both enough for taking care of our old lady & would recommend your services to anyone! My lhasa apso Mia stayed at paws for a break for 2 week's & was very happy with the service that much so she's booked in for another 3 weeks. ... it's lovely to go away with piece of mind knowing your pet is well cared for.... I'd highly recommend

We took a rescue dog in November last year, which gave us a bit of a problem as we had a holiday booked for two weeks at the end of February.

Not keen on kennels and have always used pet sitters in the past.

After trawling the Internet for weeks we found Paws 4 a Break and reading the reviews thought this is for us. Met Jane and Martyn and straight away new that our pets (we also have a cat) would be well looked after.

We were not disappointed on our return both pets were fine, relaxed and had obviously been well cared for.

It was also nice to find the house equally well cared for, clean and tidy.

Our dog J took to Martyn and visa a versa as did Charlie our cat they obviously got on like a house on fire and it’s plain Martyn loves animals and spoils them.

Martyn also walked our daughter’s dog once a day (she was away with us) and from the photos you can see was equally at home with him.

If you are looking for someone to look after your precious pet while you are away then look no further than Paws 4 a Break I can highly recommend them, you will have piece of mind knowing you pet is in good hands. More...

its the first time Toby has stayed at Paws 4 a break and even though it was only for two days as a taster, he couldn`t have been in more capable hands. he had a wonderful time and is a very happy baby. Toby has a few problems he`s allergic to gluten and wheat plus he has injections every month for several allergies, however Martyn and Jane discussed his diet and his requirements......it was like a home from home. I have no worries when Toby stays with them in April for 9 days. cannot recommend them highly enough. More...

I was so nervous about leaving my gorgeous boy for the first time, but having collected Troy this evening after his first stay, I couldn't be happier with how well he was looked after. He is happy, healthy and has enjoyed lovely walks, play times and adventures daily during his holiday and is now fast asleep and snoring on the sofa. It is clear that Martin and Jane love and know dogs and look after them as if they were their own. Nothing is too much trouble and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I can't thank Martin and Jane enough for taking care of my dogs while on holiday, for along time we didn't take holidays after having a bad experience with a kennels but I found Martin and it's the best thing I've done, we now go on holiday worry free knowing that he loves my dogs and they return the love 10 fold, they are exercised and played with and are happy and that's all I wanted. Martin and Jane are fabulous! They had Bobby for us whilst we went on holiday. I have never left him before and thought I would be very anxious but I was relaxed knowing he was in such lovely hands. They clearly love what they do and gave Bobby the love and affection he has at home. They were very thorough asking us all about his routines and little individual qwerks. The pics and videos were fantastic and showed him having lots of fun. If your dog is like your baby these are the people for you!! More...

I have just been away for 2 weeks and it is the first time I have left my 2 little cavachons Olly and Max with anybody!! ! I was very worried about finding the right people to look after them as they are literally my babies. Martyn came to our house to do a meet and greet with us and went through everything so thoroughly! The boys also went for a day visit and we met Jane who is a lovely lady too and has done lots of training with dogs.
They followed our routine to a tee, even letting my boys sleep on their bed with them so they had their home comforts �
Olly has a food allergy and we have to be really careful with what he eats and they followed his feeding habits excellently.
Max can be very nervous with other people and dogs but he soon settled in and made himself at home!
They regularly put videos and photos on Facebook so we could see them playing and having a good time which made me relaxed on holiday knowing they were being so well cared for!
I would definitely use Martyn and Jane again, they are lovely couple who have a natural love of dogs and would highly recommend them if you are looking for someone to look after your beloved babies ��� More...

Jane and Martyn had my boy for nearly 5 weeks over Christmas and new year. I got daily pictures and videos he went from not always being friendly with other dogs to playing and running around with them it was fantastic watching his progress. We have them take both our dogs for regular walks and daycare. When Martyn comes they don’t give us a second glance happy to say they both love him to bits. Herbie has just come home from his holiday with Jane and Martyn! Believe it or not he was more bothered about going back to play with them and the other dogs than coming home with us.

As it was our first time leaving Herbie we were so nervous and anxious but we were kept calm by the initial home visit and up to date Facebook videos and messages, these really reassured us whilst we were away! I messaged Paws 4 a break on Friday and Martyn came to meet my little Red on Friday night. Now if anyone knew red he’s very particular on whom he does near but he got along with Martyn as soon as he came through the door. They played and Martyn didn’t hold back in rolling on the floor with Red. Red has had his first walk today and Martyn rang me to reassure me Red was okay. I couldn’t ask for someone better, Red seemed tired and happy when I got home. Martyn made me feel like Red is in safe hands. I can’t wait to see the pictures. I would just like to say a big thank you to Martyn & Mick for all there help with our dog Tia! I couldn't have asked for more! They both took time out to get Tia used to being around other dogs after my dog was attacked a couple of years ago by another dog! It came running over to my dog on the street on it's own not on a lead and no owner to be seen! The result was that my dog then had a problem when any dogs came near her! Martyn & Mick came a took her out twice a week with other dogs to get her used to being around other dogs!she's regained some of her confidence back and she's loved every minute spent with them! Martyn and his team run a professional and friendly service and turn up on time I would very highly recommend them to anyone for help with there pets and i wouldn't hesitate to use there services again in the future!
