Paul Reid Photography

Having seen the photographs Paul took of my friends weddings, I knew when I got married I wanted him to capture the special day. Fast forward 9 years and it was finally my chance! Our wedding photographs are simply amazing and perfectly captured our day. Friends have said they wished they knew about Paul when they were getting married. On the day, Paul arrived and started taking relaxed photographs of us all getting ready. He soon picked up on I didn't like having my photograph taken and disappeared to give me a break. I am so grateful that he did and didn't make me pose for anything when getting ready. Once we arrived at church and until he left I barely knew he was there. Several guests thought Paul was a guest and not our photographer. Nearly two years on and I love looking back at the photographs and video he created to remind me of our magical day. we booked Paul for our wedding on 24 November 2019 and we couldn't be happier with our photos! He captured the day perfectly, all of those natural moments that are easily missed, he got them all! A very friendly, kind, professional man, we would book him again in a heart beat and would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer! Paul did an absolutely great job of our photos on our wedding day, not only did he feel like part of the team/family/friends on the day but he also managed to capture all of the treasured moments on the day without us even noticing sometimes! We booked Paul after visiting a local wedding fair.<br /><br />The display and portfolio held very contemporary work which included both Portrait and reportage style photos. <br /><br />The mood of the photos was very relaxed and seemed to capture the essence of the weddings.<br /><br />We felt that he would have a more modern and innovative ideas for our wedding day. We didn't want a very traditional formal<span id="moreReview175547" class="hide"> photographer. He definitely proved us right.<br /><br />On the Wedding Day Paul was very funny and made us all feel very relaxed.<br /><br />He used digital photography which meant we could view our photographs on a Dvd format which was excellent. This was further enhanced with music.<br /><br />Photographs were available in colour or black and white. Paul presented our photographs in one of these formats depending upon how well they delivered in that colour. Well where do I commence? This guy is a genius with his Camera and one with vast amount of experience in his field. He made our Wedding day the most special day of our life with his photography skills. It's not just the photos but the way he responded to all our queries and dealt with everything in a very professional but friendly way. We have just arrived home from work and watched the final slide shows. I am speechless, you are a true artist. Not only are the pictures fantastic but they are so well compiled and shown. They really do look like a movie that will last a life time and for that i can not thank you enough. The music was brilliantly chosen the movement between pictures amazing, the background pictures and detail<span id="moreReview173321" class="hide"> perfect. As i said i am speechless. We can't fault the wedding photos Paul has taken for us. We may be biased, but our wedding photos are the best ones we have seen! We certainly didn't want staid posed photos and simply left Paul to do what he does best on the day and the photos turned out great. They certainly capture the moment. In many cases Paul just simply blended into the background on the day and took photos without people<span id="moreReview173352" class="hide"> realising and they turned out brilliantly. Paul recently did a photo shoot for me and I was extremely impressed with not only the work that he did for me but also the wedding photography he did for a friend of mine. <br />He has a nack for capturing people naturally with a shoot from the hip attitude while the photo's themselves look like something from the cover of a magazine.<br />I would recommend Paul to anyone looking for either Portrait or<span id="moreReview91347" class="hide"> Wedding Photography.</span> More...
