PAR|fit Health + Fitness is a friendly and immersive personal training service based in Oxford.

We are based in a private studio in Summertown (no crowds!) and have access to top of the range fitness equipment and facilities. We also have our own mobile app that allows you to track your nutrition, log your workouts and upload you progress photos and measurements.

I started training with Callum earlier this year and I haven't looked back!
His knowledgable and innovative workout plans are complimented by his positive motivational style, which has helped me begin to achieve my fitness goals.
Previously my gym sessions lacked direction but training with Callum has given me much more focus with my workouts and also made them much more enjoyable.
I look forward to seeing the progress I can make in the next year!

I have been working with Callum for over a year now. He's helped me develop immensely over this period, working on diet, appropriate exercises and my long term goals for my health and fitness. I have had a brain tumour and there are a lot of exercises that I cannot do, especially to do with balance.
So going to general classes was difficult for me. I was not able to do some of the exercises.
I searched Personal Trainers one day and I got a reply from Callum Parker.
A great option is that Callum would also come to my house for training sessions, as well as giving me a studio option.
Callum has been an inspiration, he has put me on the right track for my new life.
Not only with exercises and the correct way to do them, but nutritional advice as well.
Callum has positively impacted my life, improving my mental health as well as my physical.
I feel fitter and healthier, and motivated.
Thank you so much Callum, for showing me that there is no such thing as ‘can’t’!

I first met Callum at a gym in September 2015. Following a sports related injury to my knee and 6 months of physio, I was rather unsure of what I should do when I returned after a 6 month break. Callum took me on and he gave me a series of suitable exercises , which ensured that my knee made a complete recovery. Each week the exercises changed, which kept me motivated. Since then I have seen him regularly and he keeps me generally fit with a series of pretty challenging exercises. He also keeps me supplied with some good nutritious recipes. We utilise a unique four-point method with all of our clients across all of our packages.

Firstly, we utilise resistance and strength training as a means to simultaneously burn fat and build muscular definition. We pay very close attention to technique and we monitor and record everything that you do.

Second, we carry out a detailed analysis of your current diet and eating habits and then prescribe a personalised meal plan and journal built around your needs and your lifestyle. We pride ourselves on our Flexible Dieting approach, whereby we still allow you to indulge in all your favourite foods and drinks, just with a healthy dose of moderation!

Third, every four weeks we take your measurements and review all of your progress from the previous month. We will identify any strengths and weaknesses and build upon them accordingly in the month ahead. This ensures that you are staying on track and that any issues can be resolved swiftly and efficiently.

Finally, all of your measurements, workouts and food journals are stored, logged and accessed via the PAR|fit mobile app, which you can use anywhere and anytime. The perfect companion to keep you motivated!

There is no real secret! Perseverance and hard work is really all it takes - the media and many publications make it all seem much harder than it really is.

I started my own business out of a desire to do things my own way without being bogged down by procedure and office politics. I get to focus 100% on my clients and on improving my business without the bureaucracy that you often find in corporate environments.

I am always looking for ways to improve the experience for my clients and to improve my business as a whole, which is tremendously fulfilling and something that you just can't replicate anywhere else.

My business was founded on the principles of simplicity, education and fun. Many personal trainers contribute far too much to the stereotypes that I'm sure you are aware of about our profession. I have no interest whatsoever in providing clients with a quick fix - I'm in the business of tangible, lifetime results, and my methods and prices reflect that.
