Oxford Sound Hire were absolutely fantastic. They are extremely professional and provide excellent friendly service at a very good price. I'm no lighting guru however I found most lighitng hire companies quite expensive for what I was looking for, nevertheless I stumbled upon Oxford Sound Hire who were extremely helpful and got back to me very promptly regarding my enquiry. They are also very much on time and delivered an outstanding service for my 22nd Birthday Party which was 40mins from Oxford. We are a large community choir of around 70 singers based in South Oxfordshire. Along with our highly acclaimed Musical Director Rupert Gill, we employ especially talented young, professional soloists and chamber orchestra players for our larger concerts. Oxford Sound Hire recorded our performance of Handel’s Messiah in November 2011, and I cannot praise the quality of Adam's work and his professionalism highly enough. The concert was performed in a church that was unfamiliar to us, making our final full rehearsal at the venue critical to establishing the right sound for this new environment. Adam had the measure of the acoustic – and of our sound - in no time at all. He set up around us quickly and unobtrusively, just getting on with the job with what seemed a telepathic understanding of what we were looking for. After the recording, Adam was very accommodating and liaised fully with us over producing the masters on such matters as track divisions. What we ended up with is a beautiful, rich recording that captures the essence of the music and our performance. First class work from a top guy. Thank you Adam. More...
