Kylo and myself want to say a huge thankyou to Max for her help with the training techniques she has taught us . . After being snapped at a few times Kylo could be abrupt and boisterous with other dogs and didnt handle being told to back off too well although she had never snapped herself she would growl and bounce around this made me very nervous when she would meet other dogs which made her even worse ‍♀️ we have just had our final session and kylo spent majority of her time off lead meeting other dogs nice and calmly and walking away when she had enough, I dont feel at all nervous anymore, kylo enjoys the interaction a lot more now and theres no boisterous behaviour either . . Kylo & my other dog Luna have improved massively with their time on lead too, no longer am I being dragged everywhere and their recall is coming along really well too until the squirrels tease them, so thankyou Max for helping make our time on our walks enjoyable for us all More...

Both Bonnie and Amanda have been wonderful with my dogs. They initially helped with a new dog who I had taken on who showed some aggression and was struggling to settle. After just a few sessions he now fits in with my other dogs beautifully and has grown in confidence. Maxine has been amazing! Very helpful and supportive towards me and made every session enjoyable. The improvement I’ve seen in my puppy is amazing. Behaviour in and out of the house is now great. Maxine has also been very flexible when needing to rearrange sessions, which is perfect when life is busy! Also very willing to support over the phone in between sessions. Bran is a Greek rescue dog with special needs and many issues to get sorted. Bonnie has been amazing. He now goes in his crate, his barking is under control and his recall is getting really good. Can’t recommend these guys enough! I was in despair with my dogs recall and couldn’t think of a way forward. We’ve done 4 sessions with Bonnie and I can’t believe how far she has come! Can't recommend For the love of Dogs enough. I've a lovely but previously quite cheeky 1 year old German Shepherd. Taking him for a walk was becoming hard as he pulled so much and he had selective hearing in the house! I highly recommend For the love of Dogs! My positive experience started the moment I spoke on the phone with Amanda for the first time. After 16 years without pets we decided to adopt a puppy. I had to start from scratch. Amanda and her team taught us everything we needed to know to help our Suki to be the great dog she can be. We did 8 puppy training sessions 1-2-1 and most of them the kids attended too and we learned all together. It was an incredibly valuable experience to discover not only what Suki can do but what we can do! We would highly recommend For the love of dogs.Bonnie and Amanda have done an excellent job with Rex. Rex had many problems especially walking and approaching other dogs. what can I say, I thought I had rescued the un-trainable dog! I have always had dogs but this time I was struggling with a 10 month old Springer. when Amanda and bonnie turned up I was so anxious and thought they would walk away after meeting him. even after the first visit I felt very much at ease and very confident that they were both true professionals. I booked a block of training sessions which were more than reasonably priced. from the first session I could see a difference in behaviour in Milo for whom now i was totally struggling to bond with. knowing my concerns Amanda and bonnie worked with both me and milo both in the house and out at various locations. milo has grown into a dog we now only dreamt he could be and its thanks to these guys. me and milo are forever in you debt. thank you so much, love to you both xx More...

I thought my dog was just mad and untrainable but I did start trying and started to notice a small change, my daughter decided to get a trainer and called For the love of dogs. Amanda arrived and wasn't the least bit phased by the barking German shepherd that confronted her. Within a few weeks the difference was amazing I couldn't take my dog out without her barking at people as she was so nervous, but now she loves her walks and doesn't take any notice of other people. I can't thank Amanda enough for all her hard work and unlike other trainers I've met she really cares not only about the dogs but their owners too. Amanda is a lovely caring but knowledgeable dog trainer and I would give For the Love of Dogs 110% !!! My boy was a very strong + stubborn pup that hadnt any manners + in a few short weeks, hes becoming the dog I hoped he would be, a way to go, but with Amanda, Bonnie and Eliotts guidance, Im now optomistic about him being the perfect pet. xxx

I contacted Amanda at “For the Love of Dogs” to see if she could help with my dog Bella, a Cavachon. Bella had a mind of her own when it came to recall in the park. Totally blanked any instructions and was easily distracted by anything that moved. Amanda came to the house to assess Bella first and then we arranged six sessions to help with recall and general behaviour when visitors came to the house. I am so pleased with the results. Bella has leant new commands and although not quite ready to go off lead in the park yet, she is certainly doing extremely well and I am certain she will very soon. Was ready to get rid of my boy Rocco with his constant wee’s all over my carpet and his nipping, so I contacted Amanda and she came and spoke to me about what she could do for us. I was at the end of my tether with my dog blue,walking her was a nightmare came back 9 out of 10 times crying,even thought of rehoming here,Amanda came into our lives at the best time,she is a god send,blue is of lead now in park now which i never thought she would do,her training is going really good,Amanda is a angel,dont know where blue would be now if it wasn't for Amanda.

Seriously cannot recommend Amanda enough ... My bulldog Neville had no recall training at all, always running off after other dogs in the park and just would not come back. After a few sessions with Amanda he's coming back when called, pulling on the lead less and just generally listening ... I actually can't believe it. I am so so grateful .. we've gone from dreaded walks to confident and fun walks in a few sessions. I have been training with Amanda a few weeks with Alfie who was a very reactive schnauzer he has come on leaps and bounds thanks to the positive and rewarding training with Amanda and Andy today he was playing with severn dogs something i could only have dreamed about even a month ago thankyou Amanda you are brilliant and l have been trained too in the process still got work to do but i have a very positive outlook now for both of us

We rehomed Wendy just over 12 months ago, she was 2 years old at the time, a nervous dog who was highly reactive to other dogs and people. Amanda was recommended by our daughter and after a consultation we began training with For The Love Of Dogs. The change in Wendy was immediate and profound even after the first week. I met Amanda when I was being dragged round the park by Jaxx the crazy Labrador she came literally like a gift from God. She trains dogs she walks dogs and she boards dogs. What more could you need. She had so much advice and helped me appreciate Jaxx a fun loving Lab who loves every other dog and person on the planet. Amanda and Andy are great, Bella loves going her walks with the boys �� and is up and at the door waiting when I say to her “Wanna go for a walk with Andy” lol �
They provide an excellent service and I would highly recommend anyone that needs the dog walked, training or day care to give them a try you won’t be disappointed. Our babies need the best and for the Love of Dogs certainly is that.
