Q&As

I just love seeing people break out of a rut and see real change that remains with them for the rest of their lives.

Frequently asked questions

How will I know if coaching could work for me?
I offer a 30-minute telephone consultation which is free of charge. This consultation is aimed at looking at what you desire, where you are right now and obstacles faced. I will look into how you learn most effectively and ask questions about your personality style, beliefs and values. With your permission, I may ask you to complete a brief questionnaire aimed at eliciting further information on the suitability of coaching for you. More tailored information and a program outline will be provided if we agree that we will work together after this consultation. I fully adhere to the Coaching Code of Ethics and will never suggest working with a client if I do not feel that I am the right coach for them or if I feel that coaching as an intervention is not indicated for a client.
Where do you see clients?
I offer coaching via Skype, telephone or in person at a mutually convenient location. Coaching in person is offered within a 15-mile radius of Ruislip, North West London. I do also travel into Central London to meet with clients for a small additional charge. Whilst most of my clients are based in South-East England, I am able and do coach clients further afield via use the internet (Skype and Facetime).
How long do sessions last?
I typically provide sessions which last either 45 or 60 minutes. However, I am happy to tailor your sessions to your requirements and am always happy to discuss session duration / format in advance.
What can I expect of you as my coach?
Professionalism, transparency, integrity and courtesy in addition to a commitment to forming and effective working partnership with you where I will increase your awareness, enabling you to take positive action and gain positive outcomes in your life. As your coach, I fully subscribe to the Coaching Code of Ethics and adhere to all matters of confidentiality, including GDPR. As your coach, I am further committed to personal development, ensuring that I keep up to date with the latest developments in the field.
What is expected of me?
Preparation, a commitment to attending sessions on time and in full and to come to sessions with pens, notebook, diary, mobile phone and/or tablet or laptop. There may also be a requirement for exercises / note taking to be completed between sessions to aid your development and success. Above all is the expectation of a solid commitment to yourself and your development!
How many sessions will I require?
The number of sessions very much depends on your individual requirements. Most clients will require at least 4 sessions but more than 4 is not at all unusual. We will discuss your requirements prior to commencing our work together. All programs will be reviewed regularly so that the required number of sessions are provided.
Do you provide any discounts?
I am able to offer a discount of 10% depending on the number of sessions booked. These are typically offered on packages of 6 sessions or more. Please call me to discuss your requirements.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am comprehensively insured as a practicing Coach and am always happy to provide documented proof upon request.
What about professional standards?
I am committed to the professional standards set down by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as well as the Coaching Code of Ethics set down by The Coaching Academy. I am also a full member of the Association of Coaching in the United Kingdom.
What if I have any other questions?
If you have further questions then please do get in touch. I am always happy to speak with people interested in the field of coaching and I will endeavour to answer all questions put to me.

The inspiration is simply that coaching works and can work for anyone. I wanted to share this with others and to be able to help others break out to become the best they can be. I really want to enable people to access coaching be that with me as their coach or by referral to coaches specialising in other niche areas.

I am qualified, fully insured and maintain my continued professional development meaning you can be assured that I am fully up to date with the very latest changes, developments, practice and legalities governing the world of coaching. I am personable and dedicated to helping those who seek lasting and effective change. Whilst I love working with people from various walks of life, I am aware that I may not always be the coach for all people. As such, I will always seek to explain fully to someone if I feel they could be better coached elsewhere and would always seek to signpost where possible. Given my experience and knowledge however, I have worked with numerous people in several different areas of coaching successfully and look forward to working with others to allow coaching to transform their lives.

I offer face-to-face sessions within a 10 mile radius of Ruislip, Middlesex. I also work with clients via Skype or telephone effectively meaning I can coach clients further afield. Indeed, I have coached people as far afield as Brazil, Italy and the U.S.
