OrderWork

I had OrderWork imposed on me when I paid Currys for installation of a television. A date was arranged. Strangely the day before the agreed date the engineer rang to explain he would not be with me that afternoon but would arrive the next day. A bit strange but not a big issue.
The next day after waiting in all day I decided to call on the engineers number to check arrival time. No answer, so I left a voicemail.
My next call was to OrderWork. I got the number for that from the attachment on the email they sent confirming the engineers arrival between 1-6 pm. Unfortunately they had all gone home.
Next morning after three calls to OrderWork it transpired they did not have a clue where the engineer was and could not give me a date never mind the time.
Needless to say I cancelled my order. I later discovered that I had paid £6.21 to what turned out to be a premium phone line.
After several emails to the bizarrely named "customer services" department my request for reimbursement was turned down .
Not I add without them telling me that in fact the engineer had turned up after all on the agreed date. Somewhat surprisingly he didn"t leave a calling card, didn"t phone me and even stranger didn"t appear on my cctv at my gate. They also said they do not supply the premium number on the text they send. Again strange as I did not have a clue who was doing the installation until I opened the attachment.
My advice is to refuse to arrange installations with Currys until they remove this incompetent firm from their suppliers list. More...
