How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I love to experiment food from around the world. once I taste a dish, I am able to identify the ingredients even the spices. This enable me to easily change and dish into my own signature.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to cook, every piece that goes into my cooking has to be perfect. For me, it is not about the profit but the call we receive after each event to say thank you. I love to see my customers happy. When we cater for your event, we go the extra mile, we pack any additional food into take away bags for your guest to take home. We know, it is also difficult for the celebrate to enjoy the food during the celebration so we also have yours to take home and enjoy at your own convenience. I just love to offer something different
What inspired you to start your own business?
Right from the age of 10, I will gather the homeless children and cook for them, sometimes i will steal my parents money to do the cooking but i was always fulfilled even though I will be punished for stealing. In 2011, I lost my vision on my left eye so I couldn't work as a nurse comfortable anymore so i decided to enroll into the University, while I was there, I will offer to cater for any faculty events and the feedback were mind blowing, It was so good that, I started doing catering causes along my BSC . When I finally graduated from university with a second class upper, I knew it was time to pursue my talent, so I went ahead to do courses such as food and hygiene. This is how Ntriwaa Catering was born in 2015 with the Ghana high commission to the UK AS our first customer
