What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
You can have the best camera in the world and take the worst photo but for me the secret is having a good eye and knowing how to achieve it.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What style of photograph are you looking for.. natural reportage? Formal portrait? Mixture of both?
Do you want a fabulously artistic shot that you might see in a magazine? Or do you want a natural photo that you think you might have been able to take but know in your heart can't
What do you love most about your job?
Capturing how I see people and watching people's reaction when they realise that I have caught that "special something"
What inspired you to start your own business?
After a full time career in BBC Radio for many years, I am now working more creatively as a photographer and video editor for people who do not necessarily want to hire a fully pro photographer but would like shots that are way better than their mobile phone.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an excellent semi-professional photographer. I do not charge professional prices because I am looking to find clients who would like a good snapper but don't want to pay high prices. I won't take work from a pro but I will pick up work that they may not want.
However at the end of the day why should clients choose me? Because my main aim is a happy customer
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I have a home voice studio so providing voice work online is the future. Providing photos online is somewhat challenging!!! Although of course I can edit and enhance anything you send me.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I only photograph outdoors these days, to keep myself and my clients save

Apart from photography, I also work as a voice artist.
I have a home studio with full recording editing facilities
and if you send me a script I can record and return - sometimes within 24 hours
