All the work has been completed with care and attention. Budgets have been clear and very detailed and any extra costs have been discussed and agreed. Nick has done two separate jobs at our house over the last year, and the quality of the work was excellent both times. The first job was the replacement of a bay window, including providing new structural support, taking down/re-building the brickwork, installing new windows and a flat roof. We were really pleased with the work, and asked Nick to come back to undertake a complete refurbishment of our kitchen, including new flat roof, re-wiring, plastering, flooring, units, appliances etc.Nick set the costs out clearly from the outset, provided good advice on the different options for layout and materials/appliances, and he fully thought through the details before starting the work. During the work, the team were courteous, Nick sought approval from us before carrying out any changes, and he kept us up to date with progress. I recently had a new wall installed in my apartment by Nick in order to add a second bedroom. I couldn't be happier with the end result and with the way they protected the rest of the apartment during construction. As an Australian living in Manchester I wasn't entirely sure who to approach for building works, however Nick was very trustworthy and I'm glad I found him. Had a major loft conversion/extension undertaken. Very complicated engineering involved, but project only over-ran timescale by a small amount. Nick and his team did an excellent job. Good communication from all of them. Clean and tidy workers and generally pleasant to deal with. Liaison with Building Control handled efficiently on our behalf.
