What’s your interior design process?
The Inspiration & Consultation Phase:
After purchasing a package with us, you’ll gain access to our design portal where you’ll be able to tell us about your space and what you’re hoping to achieve. Once we’ve received your room design request, we’ll follow up with some more in-depth questions about your vision for the space and clarify any extra details via direct message on our design platform - you’ll be able to chat back forth with us throughout the whole design process!
The Review Phase:
We’ll then get to work sourcing furniture, decor, window treatments, paint colours and more for your space. Once complete, you’ll receive a notification saying that your 2D or 3D room visualisation is ready for review! You’ll then be able to approve items you love, and decline any items you’re unsure of so that we can suggest alternatives.
The Buying Phase:
Once all of the items have been approved by you, and you’re completely happy with your design, you’ll be able to shop all of the products directly from the design board. Using our itemised floor plan and professional styling tips, you’ll easily be able to bring our new design to life! We'll also be on hand to offer any further advice via our online platform during the installation phase.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
The spaces I design embody an eclectic, transitional style that blends the warmth and character of traditional elements with the laid-back simplicity of a timeless, modern backdrop. Picture muted, light-filled schemes with a focus on earthy, organic textures and natural materials paired with vintage accents and softly-coloured textiles to achieve an authentic, timeless aesthetic.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I believe that having surroundings that are aesthetically pleasing to us can improve our wellbeing, behaviour and mood. And in these challenging times, the home environment has become more important than ever. With this in mind, I launched Nia's Interior Alchemy with the aim of making it easy to bring a professional level of interior design into people's homes across the country through an affordable (and fun!) alternative to an in-person interior design service.
Why should our clients choose you?
The main benefits of choosing my online design service, as opposed to an in-person service, are the increased convenience, faster turnaround times, and more affordable prices. Additionally, you will never pay a markup on any items purchased (typical of an in-person designer) - rather, I’m able to keep my package prices low as I earn a small commission, at absolutely no extra cost to you, on some of the items purchased within my designs.
I also pride myself on the fact that my company has no hidden fees, which isn't the case with many of the larger online design companies (e.g. required upgrades further into the process, fees to utilise any of your existing pieces within the design, charges for revisions or replacing items, etc.). My design packages include unlimited rounds of revisions within 10 working days, and I'm happy to design around any existing items. You will have direct, consistent communication with me throughout the whole process (via our shared design portal), and there won't be any unwelcome surprises!
Last but not least, as I have working relationships with many iconic homeware and furniture brands, you will also benefit by receiving access to my repertoire of exclusive designer discount codes!
