I tried 2 agents before discovering Nest in Essex. I was inundated with estate agentletters claiming to be able to sell my property, I met Nick at a function and he gave me aton of advice and never once tried to sell his services to me, instead gave me a ton of advice on what Ican do toimprove my marketing. My father died last year and naturally Ihad to get three valuations. IMet Nick who went through the valuation and gave me a lotof advice. He providescontacts to help with every aspect ofthe property (there was a lotof possessions that needed sorting through). Eventually Iasked Nick to sell the property. This is the 2nd time I have used Nick and the team at Nest, and honestly why would you even consider looking at other agents. (Yes, there was a certain high st agent that valued my property at 45k less than the final agreed price, thankfully I didn't use them!)Nick is part of that rare breed of honest and fair estate agents.From initial phone call through to completion I could count on Nest to be there 24/7 (and I do mean, literally 24/7!) and to take the stress out of the selling process.The property was marketed superbly. Nick and the team at Nest have been fantastic and while I will be posting a full review once everything is signed (don't like to jinx things! ) I would recommend them for anyone looking to sell a property. From a professional photographer who took outstanding photos, through to Nick being highly responsive and available pretty much 24/7 to answer any questions, they have been a pleasure to deal with. Do not overlook these guys for the sake of a known name and shop front on the highstreet, they really do deliver. We have been incredibly happy with the service provided by Nest in Essex and Nick Cheshire. The level of customer service was outstanding and exceeded all expectations. Nick delivered above and beyond on his assurances that he would take calls whenever physically possible and if not able, would call back as soon as he could. This extended to weekend and evenings such was the commitment to service and the goal of selling the property. Having dealt with other agents in the past who clearly screen calls it was refreshing to receive the service you should be able to expect.

After a poor experience with initial buyers which Nick managed impeccably, Nest sold our house within a day of it going on the market and we are completed 7 weeks later to the day.

Whilst one of the primary benefits of selling our house with Nest was the money saved by way of their flat fee rather than the high street's 1% sale commission, equally important was the straight talking and no nonsense facts. Rather than empty promises from agents quoting the highest values just to get the sale (all those properties on Rightmove for months which slowly get reduced...), Nick provided evidence of the true value and where it needed to be pitched in order to sell the house and move.

I would thoroughly recommend Nest in Essex to anyone looking to sell their house in the surrounding area. There appears to me to be no need to use the high street when a business model such as Nest in Essex exists and is serviced to such an incredibly high standard. Well done Nick and thanks very much. Highly recommend Nest - amazing service from start to finish! Both Nick and Kyle are genuinely nice guys and so knowledgeable. Fair and transparent pricing too which is what initially attracted us. House sold in 4 days after 1st viewing and we wouldn't have completed in the 3 months we did if it wasn't for Nick - to say he went above and beyond is an understatement! Nick at Nest has been fantastic - and he's not even my estate agent (he's acting on behalf of the vendor of the house we're buying)! !
After several instances where my own estate agent had been telling me a few, let's call them 'white lies', I found myself turning to Nick for an honest representation of what was happening with regards to our house purchase and chain.
It was never too much trouble for Nick to pick the the phone to me or answer my panicked emails when I was becoming increasingly stressed by my own agents 'untruths'.
Nick has been extremely professional throughout and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an estate agent in the Essex area (and further afield as I'm aware he's trying to branch out!). I only wish I'd used Nest for the sale of my own property and I feel that Nick is much more deserving of the fee I'm having to pay to my own useless agents!!

Nest were really fabulous right from the start of our valuations. Nick was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. From August when we went on the market we had plenty of viewings and all of them were carried out by the Nest team. This made it a lot easier for us as we both work full time. We had a very small chain of just 3 parties so once we'd sold we had moved in to our new property within 9 weeks! Professional at all times - able to laugh at some things - always called back if we'd left a message - text us information whenever we had requested it - always available. We approached several high street estate agents as well as nest and have to say from the onset nest were the best.
