let me start by saying, NEB Electrical were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
I bought a new house, and after a month all my electrics started tripping.
I called an electrician who explained to me my house needed a rewire because the wiring was really old and the person that previously lived here had added lights and sockets that weren't fitted correctly. Please excuse my ignorance as this is not my area of expertise. Anyway, I decided to call around to see who would give me the cheapest quote to get everything fixed. In the end I called the guy back who told me I needed a rewire. Biggest mistake I ever made. Paid that cowboy half the money up front for him to change a couple of sockets and leave a big mess. The best part he never came back. You can imagine how i felt. My trust went out the window.
A friend recommended I call Nicholas at NEB Electrical, and I can honestly say my faith was renewed. He went through everything that was wrong with my house's wiring and told me I didn't need a rewire at all and that I was duped by the cowboy. After half a day NEB fixed all the faults and even fixed a couple things that I didn't ask them to (light switches that didn't do anything) and they cleaned up after themselves which I thought was amazing. Now everything works perfectly and I can honestly say that I won't be calling anyone else for any future electrical needs.

What do you love most about your job?
I think the best thing is that no two days are the same. Also interacting with many different people from all walks of life is a plus.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was working for company's and finding that their way of working could be improved, however my opinions often fell on deaf ears. So i guess i thought the only way to do things the way i want was to do it myself.
Our main mission is to improve our standard of work daily. Each day better than the last.
Why should our clients choose you?
We will provide the service that should come as standard within our line of work. Everything we do is fuelled by a passion for Electrical Safety, every bit of advice given is 100% impartial as we put this passion in front of any profits to the business.
We are also NIC-EIC registered and hold all required insurances, qualifications and training.
Electrical Rewiring
We provide a rewiring service from single circuits to complete houses. Also covering rewiring work within Commercial and Industrial units.
All work is inspected & tested with NIC-EIC certificate issue on completion.
Consumer Unit renewals
If your consumer unit is over 20 years old chances are it needs replaced with a much safer unit. We can help you bring your existing electrical system up to 18th edition compliance.
Please note the new unit being compatible with existing system is subject to electrical testing, if the wiring in the house is not in a safe working condition just fitting the new unit will in turn cause issues as older units do not pick up on possible existing faults.
A complete fixed wring test will be carried out as part of this installation and an NIC-EIC Electrical Installation Certificate issued on completion.
Inspection & Testing
This service can be anything from fault finding to in depth Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR). We can do these for domestic rental compliance or Commercial/Industrial units requiring certification.
Please note as we are part of the NIC-EIC we cannot test and sign off anyone else's work. i.e new installation work carried out by another party.
Landlord compliance
We do a lot of work for private landlords and estate agents, keeping their property's compliant with interlinked smoke alarm installations, PAT testing and 5 yearly Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).
This service can be tailored to your requirements and for multiple property's an inspection schedule created to ensure deadlines are met.
LED lighting
There is a wide range of LED lighting available these days. So if your thinking of lighting, give us a call, we would be more than happy to help.
We can offer a lighting design service also if this is required. All lighting work undertaken, including garden, house exterior and interior installs.
