I really feel like I must complain about a lawyer, Altaf Husain Patel. I aske him not to do any real work on my issue and he said he wouldn’t.
I met him in car park for a “free consultation” in a car park, when he told me the price for the work was £4000 I nearly dropped, he could see I didn’t want to pay it and he got quite irate because he made the journey to meet me in a starbucks park. When he got irate I felt threatened as we were sitting in his and I felt very vulnerable. So out, feeling threated, I made the payment (to his personal account? Not business which I thought was strange, like he was trying to avoid paying the tax on it.
I asked him to give me time to think about how I wanted, he created a search of urgency and made me feel panicked I did not want him to work on this right way I wanted to have a chance to gather myself. I wrote to him 1.5/2 hours after our meeting and told him that I wanted to price around as I felt his price was a lot. Told me it was too late and that he had already started, I then asked him why he started. As that point I just wanted my money back, he told me he appointed a already which is probably nonsence as it around 4 pm when we concluded the meeting .
When I told him that I didn’t want him to represent me anymore he started roaring down the phone at making all sorts of untrue accusations. This guy is really nasty, next thing Im going to do Is report him to the police. I’m not sure if this is the case or not but he said the 14 day cooling off period doesn’t apply the legal sector (see image below where he states this. He wanted to offer me £2000 back and I said no, I want all my money back now because of nasty attitude.
Not sure what you can do with a guy like this but cound you help me get my £4000 back please

However at crunch points in the case became unavailable. Extremely rude chap. Watch out and please stay away from this fake chap. Wrote the document with poor language with lots of mistakes. I met Altaf Patel on a child matter, I found him very knowledgable and practical in regards to a Child contact order, he expalined the court procedures and rules for me in a detailed and undertandable marrer which helped me undertand my rights as a Father, he is working on my case and I hope eveything will work out in our favour. I was looking for solicitors for my wife visa. I found Altaf patel company online. I have contected him over the phone, he asked me to send document through whatsapp, after receiving my documents he visited my house. He completed my application form at my home then he confirmed everything on his law firm Allweis & Co Solicitors letter headed paper and then he submitted my wife application. He sent us royal mail recorded receipt. After some time we receive my wife biomateric an appointment and after that we receive her visa.
