What do you love most about your job?
Although it may seem a little cliched.......for us, the best part of the job is finding out what a customer wants, then helping them get it to their delight and total satisfaction.
The icing on the cake is receiving positive feedback and reviews and we are truly honoured by the confidence shown in us by customers who return with repeat orders or fresh enquiries. Everyone enjoys praise and validation and we are no exception.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having spent around a quarter of a century gaining hands-on and managerial experience in the operation of an SME that offered a multitude of products and services to both B-to-B and B-to-C channels, I succeeded in learning a few valuable business skills.
Involved in every aspect of the business, at times surviving some steep learning curves my experiences gave me a sound background of useful competencies ideal in a customer service-led environment. When it came time for the business to change hands and for new owners to put their own stamp on the business I felt it was the ideal opportunity to put the valuable skills I had learned to good use and see what I could achieve on my own.
You might say the entrepreneurial spirit is in my DNA. With both my father and grandfather starting and running successful businesses from scratch, I have been enthused with a strong desire to emulate their success as well as set my own vision and direction.
