Andy is a genuine, caring man, offering a high standard of service to the owner of a pet; his objective being to try to make the animal as happy outdoors as when it is in its home. I particularly like his policy of walking one dog at a time, not a collection of them as some do (those people should be offering a dogs walking service). Safety is paramount, he carrying out an assesssment prior to a walk in certain conditions (e.g. heat or ice). Cats, rabbits etc. prefer to remain indoors, so he has been known to pay visits to feed and check on their welfare if an owner wishes. Being a shift worker and aquiring a new pup to keep my older dog company after the passing of her sister. I decided to give Mr Wagtails a go. Ive not used a dog walker/sitter before so was unsure about giving a stranger a key to my house and access to my girls. Right from the start Andy has been fantastic, taking the girls out for a short walk as my 13.5yr has arthritis, then back home for lots of play with the pup. Feeding them if needed. He always lets me know after each visit how they are. He cleans out the pups crate if shes chewed her bed or the puppy mats. Nothing is too much trouble. Even coming at short notice and sometimes twice a day. A very professional service given by someone who will treat your pet as his own with love and care. Highly recommend Mr Wagtails! More...

Andy is a friendly and genuine guy. He looked after my 2 cats for a week. He didn't just rush in, feed them and leave. He waited until they had eaten and have them some attention and affection aswell.
I'm always anxious about leaving the furrballs but the photo updates really put my mind at ease. Andy is also helpful and will offer to do any other little jobs e.g putting bins out, turning on lights and making sure there's milk in the fridge for your return.
I can't recommend Andy enough and I will be using him again in the future.

Mr Wagtails is enthusiastically greeted by my 2 very energetic springers every time he arrives. They love their walks and cuddles with him. Andy is always on time, polite and friendly.
