Describe your creative process.
I draft out everything by hand, usually with good ol' paper and pencil. I'll then take these images and magic them in to the computer using a wacom tablet to get a cleaner image and so I can then adapt and adjust the design based on the client's preferences until the design is perfect!
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Before I start work, I like to understand the aim of the project, where/how the design is going to be used and any ideas you have for how you'd like the piece to look - I don't mind if these are just doodles on a napkin! (If you know what you need but not what you want I'm happy to help you figure this all out)
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating something that didn't exist before and the variety that comes with my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I always wanted to work for myself and love the freedom that comes with it. Of course there are a lot of other things that go along with running your own business - like bookkeeping - which are slightly less fun! But I find it is worth it.
Why should our clients choose you?
I like to spend time to really understand a client's aims. I know it can sometimes be frustrating when you're trying to explain an idea that's stuck in your head so I try my best to keep working through it until we're completely on the same page.
Illustration
I am available for any illustration projects including children's books and marketing images.
Logo design
My logos are hand drawn either digitally, using a wacom tablet or I can work using ink/watercolour to create a real 'hand drawn' logo.
Marketing materials
I can produce marketing materials such as event posters using your images/photography, stock images or my own illustration depending on your needs. I can also write copy for your materials if required.
Branding
I offer a full branding service (or pick 'n' mix which you require) where I work with you to create a clear and concise brand for your company.
