What do you love most about your job?
Witnessing the impact that I am making in my students' lives is truly rewarding. It's incredible to see how they change their attitudes and become more confident and comfortable with subjects that used to upset and frustrate them. I observe these positive changes both within the lessons and over longer periods of time.
Moreover, I take great joy in witnessing how students overcome their challenges, whether it's mastering a new piece of music, or solving problems they once considered impossible to approach.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Tutoring students is what prevailed over the years, among the sea of other activities, endeavours and pursuits. I decided to earn my living by doing what really fulfils me. When I was working in schools, I have realised that my full strength comes to light when supporting either individuals either working with small group of temporarily excluded students.

In addition to providing academic support and fostering success, I find it natural to build strong connections with my students. I aim to form relationships with them, allowing us to cultivate positive habits that will bring them long-term benefits.

I offer online tuition for Mathematics students, utilising various platforms and apps like Google Meet and Google Jamboard. These tools enable me to interact with my students in a simple and efficient manner, ensuring a productive learning experience.
When it comes to teaching guitar, I find it more effective to work with advanced students in an online setting. Therefore, for guitar lessons, I generally prefer face-to-face sessions to ensure the best results.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I offered online lessons. In addition, hand sanitiser and other protective measures were in place for students who prefer face to face lessons.
Maths Tuition
I have significant experience in working with young children of all ages. In the last 8 years I have worked as a mathematics tutor in several schools and privately, one-to-one and in small groups, teaching Key Stage 1 – 4, for both regular weekly tuition and intense exam preparation - the results of students improved considerably with my support.
In my work, I focus on discovering the students’ individual difficulties and guide them in looking for solutions. Together we develop a thorough understanding of the mathematical issue. I tend to approach subjects from many different angles, aiming to make maths more transparent and the lessons more engaging. As a result, the students achieve a solid foundation in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
Guitar Tuition
I am a passionate and supportive teacher with more than 5 years of experience in teaching guitar to adults and children from the age of 6 onwards. I teach classical and popular music styles and I offer ABRSM exam preparation.
In my experience as a guitar teacher, I have worked with children from the age of 6 up to 70-year-old students; I developed the skills required to meet any student’s expectations and needs, with a positive and friendly approach yet in a professional and productive manner.
Lessons take place either at my home in Harrow HA3, or at the student's house. I teach on weekday afternoons, and on Saturdays.
