Our virtual studio offers a choice of lessons from a digital or acoustic piano, multiple camera angles (so you can see the teacher and their hands on the keyboard), all at a time to suit your lifestyle. All lessons are delivered via Zoom, Skype or Facetime, giving the experience of a face to face lesson with all the convenience of learning in your own home at a flexible time with no travel worries or expense.
Lessons are fun and varied, tailored carefully to the individual needs of each student. Whatever your reason for wanting to play the piano, we can help you achieve your goals. From young beginners to returning adult learners, there is a lesson plan for all types.
A typical lesson plan
* If you've always wanted to play a certain song, we would learn basic notation and get you playing your dream piece within the first few weeks.
* If you've always dreamt of playing jazz and blues, we would crack on with rhythm work, syncopation and pentatonic scales.
* If Grade 8 is your dream, then you would be guided through graded scales, pieces, sight reading and aural.
I hold a Diploma in Piano teaching from the ABRSM and achieved Grade 8 in Piano, Flute and Music Theory over 30 years ago. I've been teaching for 15 years and still as passionate as ever about supporting my pupils in achieving their goals.
I offer lessons paid for in groups of 10, which gives you the flexibility to learn for a short while in order to nail that piece you've always wanted to play or keep on taking lessons to achieve a longer term goal.
