My wife and I would highly recommend Thomas Midgley as a videographer. In the build up to the wedding Thomas was very flexable and attentive to our needs, as we are currently living in London we sometimes struggled to have a window of opportunity to meet Thomas when we were in Yorkshire on wedding duties, but Thomas was able to work around it and was very thorough with his communication, from start to finish. Even when at one point, due to clash of dates, we thought we might not be able to use Thomas, he was so thoughtful to even offer to help us find someone else as a replacement. Fortunately for us this was not the case and we were able to go ahead with him and we are so very glad we did. He and his friend Lowry did a great job of capturing the day and we had great fun with whilst doing so. The final product is simply amazing, ourselves and our families have watched the wedding video time and time again and it really brings everything back to us to help relive the day over. It has also been nice being able to share the video with those who were not able to make the day and we are glad we went with him. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is thinking of a wedding videographer and I'll definitely be using him for my second wedding :)Mr and Mrs Erwood More...

Absolutely outstanding service! Our wedding video is just perfect, like a film, the music, the still and slow moving shots, the sunset, the drone views, the way the speeches and music play alongside the video, it’s just mesmerising and perfect. So many memories captured, and all the little things you often don’t see on the day. We weren’t sure at first if we wanted a videographer, but honestly it’s probably one of the most important things, above everything it’s a lasting memory forever. Tom was fab, we hardly knew he was with us all day, so polite, and nothing was too much. He pays so much attention to every detail, makes sure everything is just perfect. I know this review is quite long but I really want to get across how brilliant the video is. Tom and Lee were our videographers for our big day in Sept 2017. We were looking for videographers who could story tell, whilst capturing those all important small and intimate moments and more importantly capture who we were and what we were all about. The video we received was all we could have wished for and more, even down to the readings matching the footage in the edits, It is truly a work of art. I had a wonderful experience with Tom and his editing skills! He took the time to understand what I wanted, and also helped with the preparation beforehand because I was eloping. The video is really what I wanted and not some boring pre-formatted wedding video, it’s 100% personal. t’s more than just a business, it’s a passion and you can see it in his work and in the end product. The video is gorgeous and he really made a lovely memory of this special day. Tom and Lee from Midgley Wedding Cinematography did our wedding videography and they were absolutely amazing!The package was well-priced, they were quick and responsive by email/phone any time and their results are very professional and classy. On the day they blended in seamlessly in the event, and the final result was top quality! Our friends and relatives have been overwhelmed with how beautiful our wedding day was captured. ** If funds allow, Midgley Wedding Cinematograpy is an absolute must for your wedding! **I'll start at the beginning...we had dreamt of having a videographer at our wedding to capture our special day but decided pretty early on that it was an unnecessary expense and that we couldn't really afford to book another supplier. We left the door open a crack in case we could find the funds to book a videographer and, after months of deliberation, we found and contacted Tom at Midgley Wedding Cinematography. He was the last supplier that we booked and I worried a lot about the additional expense at a time when costs were already running into multiple thousands of pounds and it felt like we were spending money quicker than we could earn it! I was unsure for weeks whether we'd made the right decision but, since the day we met Tom, I have been nothing but overhwhelmed by his professionalism and skill. He was polite, kind hearted, seemed to care genuinely about us as people and clients, and has an innate passion and flare for what he does.On the wedding day, Tom and Lee were a delight to work with and helped us to feel special, looked after, and generally on top of the world! Capturing the video footage didn't take away for a second from our special day and I can't put into words what a fantastic investment the cinematography was. Now that the dust has settled, we're settling into married life, and the intricate memories of our day have faded surprisingly quickly, our wedding video helps to bring those memories flooding back. We have watched the feature film about 50 times and clap, cheer, and cry every time! We have loved every second of showing it to friends and family and I wish I could describe just how beautifully put together it is. Tom and Lee captured every part of our special day and have worked it into the most stunning product that is a beautiful work of art. We are grateful to have also had an outstanding photographer on board for the wedding but still photographs can only say so much. To hear our speeches back, listen to our vows and the sincerity with which they were said, listen to the music we chose, hear the church readings again, see moments on film that we didn't even get to see ourselves on the day, and so much more that is caught on film is just priceless.It is ironic that Tom was the last supplier that we booked and has turned out to be single handedly the best investment of our wedding. Tom advertises as 'cinematography' rather than videography and, in our opinion, it is exactly that. It is different to, more emotive than, and more beautifully crafted than standard videography and our feature and highlights films have been cut with flare, care, passion, and skill. We can't thank Tom and Lee enough for their brilliant work that will help us to remember our special day forever.
