Michelle Ley Photography

What an amazing photographer. She took our incredible photographs at our Millbrook Estate elopement wedding just last week, and while I was already with high expectations due to stalking her work, I was still utterly blown away by our finals. Michelle is very kind, fun and hard working, and a pleasure to spend time with. She really knew how to piece together a narrative of the day, showing us in our best lights (and truly capturing our personalities and how much fun we had), as well as the venue's. I have far too many good words about Michelle. Amazingly thought out process, with amazing, well considered photographs in terms of framing, lighting, etc. AND a perfect post production as well! In a situation that most would find a little uncomfortable, she was able to make the whole experience soo much fun! In May we had the pleasure of Michelle’s company and talent on our wedding day. Within minutes Michelle had sussed out exactly who we are and in turn, what we wanted for our day. She put us (a couple that hate being centre of attention) totally at ease and created the most perfect images for us. Michelle even waited to post our images on her own social media until after we had our reception a month later, meaning family and friends wouldn’t be able to see the pictures. Michelle was absolutely brilliant, she made us feel comfortable and at ease straight away. Alot of the time we didn't even realise we were having pictures taken it was so natural. We got married on 25th May and chose Michelle as our photographer, and it was one of the best decisions we made! When we first met Michelle, she told us that she loves to tell the story of the wedding, and she did not disappoint! She captured every detail of our special day with the most beautiful photographs in both colour and black and white. We just don't know how we are going to choose our favourites from our stunning gallery! At the wedding itself, Michelle was incredibly helpful and down to earth. Our guests commented on how she told everyone what to do without being bossy, and everyone really warmed to her as they got to know her. She liased with our vicar in a friendly manner and was careful to make sure everything ran smoothly. I planned a surprise horse and carriage as transport on our wedding day, and Michelle factored this into the timings of the day seamlessly without giving the surprise away! michelle is fun delightful charming and actually not too bad at photography either, she took amazing photos of our special day at TTE and her talent behind the camera (and hiding in trees lol) produced us some beautiful memories to keep forever, delightful lady with a fun relaxed attitude who put us at ease and captured some lovely photos, i cant thankyou enough Michelle xx

Michelle done some photos of my boys today. My youngest was a little nervous at first but she soon put him at ease and made him feel relaxed. Her service is really professional and she's really bubbly which helps when you are taking photos of children. Cant recommend her enogth and will deffently book with chell again. I was given a voucher for a newborn shoot, Michelle was amazing with my baby and my 4year old who was added in to some photos for free nothing was to much trouble and we were made to feel very relaxed. Well what can I say chell is a fantastic photographer chell has always done my family photos so when I booked my wedding I already knew who I wanted and I'm so glad I had her there with me on my special day half the time I forgot she was there but also felt chell was part of my wedding party always at hand to help and having a good giggle with other guests I'm so excited to see all my photos as I know my pictures are going to be amazing like always I'm also looking forward to having more family pictures in the future it's so nice to build a relationship with chell rather than just a photographer it makes things so more relaxed and fun this lady is truly amazing and her work is outstanding so thankyou so much you should be so proud of your work I remember when you just started out and your work just gets so much better as the years go by so thankyou for sharing my day and watching my family grow xx

I have no words that will do your work justice, just incredible, you capture the most special moments you were patient and organised us. Anyone can take a photo but you captured memories in the the naturalist form.

It was just the 2 of us on our Wedding day and I was a bit worried that the shots wouldn't look natural, being aware of Michelle there. Needn't have worried, Michelle is a real laugh, easy going and relaxed! And she still managed to get a lot of shots I wasn't even aware of, which was a lovely surprise.
