Mostly reflected by some of the staff - disinterested/not overly enthusiastic to help bar steward, one waitress had long nails but you could see they were dirty underneath, failure to make bed, (which I'd already pulled over) during room servicing, forgot to bring out accompanying vegetables so we had to start eating or else the main meal would start to get cold, shower door in need of repair, no decaf (really?) - until hunted down, to name a few examples. Most items rectified, in all fairness, but you don't expect this from a 4* establishment. Took the edge off a planned short break. Are staff just a bit tired and jaded? In need of a refresher course in customer service/waiter/waitress training? But still enjoyed the visit none the less. Just not sure we're so excited about returning again soon..... More...
