Cleaners? Wrong title. Absolutely joke of a company. Happy to take £195 for an end of tenancy clean. Now I will add I had no electricity so this is nothing about the hoovering. In the well lit rooms, where you can see clearly, they wiped a bit of windowsill, wiped surfaces in kitchen (leaving streakes) wiped fridge an cupboards, however from when I used to work at a cleaning company this is a wipe down. Not even a deep clean. Did not do... Walls Skirts Plug sockets Mop floor (even when floor wipes sat there) Window sill properly Doors Blinds Oven (I paid extra for this) Hob. Quite frankly my 4 year old niece can clean better than this. Have called, text, emailed to give them a chance to rectify. Nothing. Garentee this will get attention! Couldn’t be more annoyed or disappointed by the service received from the Stoke & Nantwich Merry Maids. Arranged a deep clean after just moving into our new house and was quoted £250 to be paid upfront. I thought this was reasonable given the size & work to be done. 2 members of staff spent 3 hours here in total, lightly dusting at best. The extent of their laziness was not discovered until after spending the whole weekend cleaning myself & discovering age old cobwebs & dirty floors. I have attached the mop bucket to show the colour of the water after cleaning the kitchen floor! Annette completely unhelpful, referring to t&c’s which state a review to be complete within 24hrs, no discretion taken. Would give them no star but can't seem to do that. The North Wiltshire Merry maids are terrible and a scam. When I complained to head office they DID nothing. Do not hire Merry Maids. After not doing an end of tenancy clean for us but taking our money, I finally got a refund by raising a dispute with my bank. Unwilling to deal with complaints after paying £350 to carry out a deep clean that wouldnt qualify as a quick lick Kitchen: The cabinet fronts/kitchen cupboards were dirty with food marks on them and they also did not feel clean Kitchen: Microwave was dirty inside and not touched at all Living room: Fireplace guard has thick dust so has not been cleaned at all Living room: Mirror not cleaned Living room: Dirty cloth marks present on window frame Master bedroom: furniture accessories thick with dust (sideboard mirror and small set of jewellery draws) Master bedroom: Bedside cabinet drawer tops dusty Conservatory: Glass doors not cleaned - dirty finger marks still present and white wood doors dirty All windows: Black grime marks still present, I can pick these marks with my nails Majority of skirting boards: Dirty and dusty Smell: When I walked around my home I could not smell cleaning products or a fresh smell you would expect after a professional clean

Booked for a one off, big clean in Retford. To start they were an hour and a half late. First fag break less than an a hour of arriving. And here for less than 2 and a half hours. Probably ok for a quick clean once a week or so but definitely not recommended for a big one off clean. Not worth the amount I paid. Feel very silly I paid so much when there's still loads they missed and weren't here very long. They were however, friendly and brought all equipment etc and although the floors are a bit sticky and the oven is not really clean, what they did do was a good job. Awful customer service! The owner forgot about our first appointment and i had to phone her after waiting for an hour, whilst rearranging my day for the meeting. I gave her a second chance and she missed the second appointment AGAIN phoning me 1 hour after the appointment saying she was on her way. Merry Maids - Marlborough I was very disappointed with the level of cleaning. I booked a full house clean but cobwebs were left, skirting still dirty and the kitchen cupboards were left dirty with crumbs and grease, despite them going back for a 2nd visit. Engaged Ilkley & Skipton for one clean and never again..... awful service. Cleaners left marks on our carpet, left a part for their hoover in our lounge (next to the stain that they denied! ) They then refused to return our key until we signed a form which was never agreed upon. The owner of her company then sent her husband around to threaten us for not settling the bill before returning the key. After spending £280 on a 'deep clean' of my small 2 bed (only instructed to do 1) house I expected to come home to my house gleaming and not have to do any weekly cleaning this week. ... yet still found shower gel on the bathroom tiles, cobwebs in the ceiling corners, dog hair on my living room carpet, spillage on the kitchen surfaces, crumbs where the toaster had just been cleaned around and dirt at the kitchen door.... We moved house last Friday, and as it is Christmas decided to employ Merry Maids to clean the old property for us. So an empty, one level, hard floor house was booked for a 'deep clean'. The ladies were booked for 1.00pm. They arrived at 2.00pm. I was told that a 'kitchen clean' did not include the oven or fridge freezer. Obviously I wanted the oven to be done, so agreed to pay the additional £20.00, on top of the already quoted £190.00. I left the ladies to it whilst I went to get money and deliver some presents. My husband turned up at 3.30pm to find the ladies having a fag break in their car. I arrived shortly after. They had 'nearly finished'. On inspection I noted that the hard floors did not seem to have been even hoovered, let alone mopped. I pointed out to them fluff and dirt on the bathroom floor, excessive areas of mud in the lounge, hallway and bedroom (from the removals mens feet), and no cobwebs around the ceiling/ beams had been touched. The kitchen drawers still had dirt in them. The walls remained marked. In summary, a complete waste of time and money. We will be complaining formally, but it is Christmas Eve and I have far more important things to do today. I spent two hours after they left last night cleaning the fridge and going over the cupboards and doors. I would give them no stars but it is not an option.
