I used Merry Maids in South Surrey before moving here and everything about the service was great - Shirley on reception second-to-none and the cleaners almost without exception the same. Yesterday, I had two of the hardest workers to do the toughest of the cleaning jobs which the previous owners of my condo had left behind for me to do after they'd moved out. Teresa tackled all the very large windows while Donna took on tub and shower surrounds, kitchen and bath cabinet doors etc. Neither lady stopped for the 2.5 hours they were here - can't say enough about how wonderful those two are. Can't say the same about the woman who answers the phone - most times brusque and off-putting and just occasionally pleasant. I imagine she is efficient, but if not for my former experience with the South Surrey branch, I'd have gone to another company. Too bad, as Teresa and Donna alone give the company great press. The staff at Merry Maids of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge & Guelph do an excellent job in their cleaning of my house. It smells so fresh when I return home, yet it doesn't have a "chemical-type" smell as I know they use products that are environmentally-safe, which is important to me.
