Our music is extremely varied, and we can cater for any age or music type from 60s & 70s to modern chart, from rock & roll to R&B, from dubstep to Punjabi.

Simon was the DJ for my daughter Sarah's wedding on 3rd August. The process of making the booking and submitting requests to be played could not have been easier and the entire event went very smoothly. Everyone has commented on the choice of music and how much they enjoyed themselves. I was particularly pleased that Simon was able to source my request for the Father Daughter dance as it was not on his list of available music. The right music was played at the right time in the evening from cheesy pop early doors to the requested heavy metal section towards the end. Marvellous disco was a fantastic choice for our wedding in early April at Alnwick treehouse. It was great fun putting together the playlist for the evening in the days leading up to the event. On the day when the wedding breakfast was finished he was already set up and good to go, and all he needed from me was a thumbs up when we were ready for the first dance to begin. From there he was great throughout the dancing, reading the energy from the crowd and playing the perfect songs to keep the dance floor crowded. His prices were super reasonable and the fact that he had done weddings at The Treehouse Restaurant before, made certain we were totally at ease! Whilst we planned the wedding we always said we wanted to offer our guests the opportunity to pick songs to play. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Keeping a good eye on the dancefloor and try and judge the sort of music that they would like to dance to. If a certain genre of music isn't working, don't keep playing those types of songs - change things over and go down a different genre route!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I am very much a "mixing" DJ. I try and make the whole evenings music blend into one seamless mix. It sounds amazing and I have had many great comments from my clients.
What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love meeting new people all over the country and knowing that I have been an important part of their amazing day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started DJing in the pubs and clubs of Alnwick when I was 18, getting to learn the craft. I started becoming extremely passionate about what I do and wanted to make it a full time job, rather than a Saturday thing. Luckily it is now pretty much all I do! And I do it well, so I have been told many times.

I have 12 years of experience working in many prestigious venues all over the UK, from Alnwick Castle to the O2 Arena. I have over 100 happy reviews on my website from past customers and I give a very personable experience to my clients - you can have as much, or as little say in what gets played on the evening!
