Wills and Estate Planning

I am in the early stages of using this company so cannot really make a judgement yet. So far so good.

Q&As

I ensure that the solution I offer the clients is tailored to their circumstances. Ensuring that their legacy is protected for future generations. Estate planning is not just for the person who is passing. It is about making decisions now, with a clear head, that will provide clarity to all those left behind.

The future can be written.

We are able to assist remotely. I use ZOOM for many meeting with clients that are not close enough for a home consultation.

Services

I provide wills to both individuals and couples. This process starts with a free consultation that can be conducted as a home visit. I offer meetings at a time that is suitable to you.
During the meeting I will discuss your personal needs and current circumstances before taking your instructions to draw up a will that is tailored to you.

I offer people 2 types of LPAs
1. Property and financial affairs
2. Health and welfare

These documents enable the attorney (trusted persons) that you nominate to legally make decisions on your behalf, should you lose mental capacity to do so yourself. These documents need to be drawn up prior to the loss of mental capacity.

Property and finance LPAs allow the attorneys to legally access bank accounts. The health and welfare LPAs allow the attorneys to legally make decision around you care.

Trusts have been around for over 750 years in England. It enable to you protect you assets. A trust is managed by trustees for the benefit of the named beneficiaries.

When an asset is settled into a trust it is no longer part of your estate, this protects the assets from divorce, bankruptcy and sideways disinheritance. You can also use the trust for inheritance tax planning.

Funerals are often highly emotional.

The cost of funerals has risen dramatically over the last 15 years. Buying a funeral plan, is simply a way of paying for your funeral now, at today’s prices, so that the cost isn’t taken from the estate you leave behind.

I will provide you with a plan to suit your needs. There are a range of plans, from a budget option, to a premium funeral, to match your budget. You can pay upfront in full, or in monthly instalments.
