Martin has been an absolute God send to our little family. We've been to puppy training classes with Beatrice (our Pressa Canario x) and had little luck with her stress behaviour towards other dogs. She barks, growls and wants to escape the situation. We have been told to distract her with food while she barks, growls and plays up in the company of other dogs. As we feared, this was instilling, aggressive behaviour when we come across other dogs and even people. We were taking the advise from 'trainers'. As a result, walking Beatrice has been a nightmare and we had no control of her. I got to the point where I couldn't go with my husband on walks as I was petrified with crippling anxiety coming across other people and dogs. Martin offered the aid of Genco collar, which at first look and felt horrid .... but my God the response was incredible! By the end of the outside work out, we came across a man (hood up and hat on) she didn't even give him time of day! I even walked her on my OWN with nothing but pure confidence and control. Beatrice is a amazing girl, we are so in love with her, we always have been... but before we seeked out Martin's help, I was seriously despairing. She is picking everything up in record speed. As Martin called her 'superdog'! We are first time fur-parents and we really needed this, more for us and our confidence than everything else.She's going to be a big girl and we needed this.He really has a way with her calling her baby and baby girl it was like her uncle had come round. We had Martin kindly come to our home a week ago to help us with some training strategies for our Vizsla who is a nervous dog. Martin is a lovely, easy going man who is very knowledgeable and uses positive training methods in his techniques and demonstrations. It's early days for resolution of her anxieties but I can absolutely see that if we continue with the guidance shown we will have improvements in her confidence and how we respond to any anxieties. Very impressed with the work Martin did with us and our dog. My wife is pregnant and we wanted to sort a couple of issues with our 18 month cockapoo before the arrival. He claimed we would see a difference in our dog’s behaviour within the first hour and I would say we saw change within the first 5 minutes!

Martin took us through some really effective techniques to work with our dog. I am writing this on the evening of our session as I have just taken our dog out for a walk (one issue was walking on the lead correctly) and I cannot believe the difference already.

I would 100% reccomend the Manchester dog whisperer to anyone who needs expert guidance with their dog.

We asked Martin to come and help us with our Hungarian Vizsla. When he left it was like we had a different dog. Martin listened to what we wanted help with and gave us advice. He showed us in a step wise fashion how to work towards changing the behaviours we did not want from our dog. Martin was not patronising or condescending in any way and was very patient. At no point did we feel that we were on the clock. We enjoyed the time we spent with Martin. Although we have to put the work in, we feel confident that by following his advice we will have the dog that we want. We have seen a great improvement in his behaviour already. Martin arrived yesterday to help us with our two very lovable, but extremely mischievous Norfolk Terrier/Jack Russell cross pups and what can we say - he was amazing! Within 5 minutes of him arriving, he had taught us how to stop them from leaping on people as they walked in the door. Over the next four hours the difference he made was incredible and he has given us the confidence to continue their training on our own. This afternoon I took the boys out for a walk and, for the first time since they became part of our family, it was a complete pleasure to take them out! In the last 24 hours we have been able to sit on the sofa without it being overtaken by boisterous puppies! Not once did Martin rush us, he took the time to make sure we were happy and that he had entirely covered all the issues we had. we can't thank him enough and would recommend him to anyone - he is fantastic! Martin, spent a morning with our 4 year old dog and our recent 10 year old springer which was a rescue dog who we was having trouble with. Saw results almost immediately and we was amazed at how quickly the dogs picked up on things. it will take time to practice to get both dogs to the state we need them at but the walks have now become less stressful and the recommendation of Gencon leads have proven to be great. Long way to go yet before we can bring Martin back for the next stage but we would recommend him if you are having trouble with your dog or, if you get a pup and wish to start the training from an early stage. We’ve just spent the morning with Martin who has done an amazing job helping us with our one year old French bulldog. What a difference knowing how to communicate with our boy so he understands what we want from him. We honestly thought he was just naughty but in fact it was our lack of knowledge and experience that was influencing his behaviour. Martin has taught us so much already and we can’t wait to continue what we’ve learnt today to develop him further. The training was fun and we saw such a difference straight away, our boy is actually very good and very intelligent...we’re very proud :) We would highly recommend Martin for any training issues, he’s a lovely person too and we wouldn’t hesitate to contact him if we had any further questions. Wow, still overwhelmed by the progress we made with the guidance of Martin in just a small amount of time with my two 9 month old pups.
I was overwhelmed by two boisterous and unruly boys at times, and it was particularly frustrating because I knew they had it in them, but just did not know how to help them to be the intelligent, well behaved boys that they really are.
Martin showed us many techniques to practice and put into place that, whilst need repetition and practice, showed instant improvement. I have already been doing some ‘homework’ with them, and we are enjoying learning (myself included!) I am so grateful to have met Martin, all 6ft 4 of him with his long flowing locks (did I get that right?!) - but seriously, thank-you! More...

Thank you Martin for a truly enlightening visit to our home to help us with our Vizsla Blue. You put us all at ease, answered all of our questions & gave us some fantastic advice. We phoned Martin not for a particular problem with our 11 mth old spaniel but to help iron out a few little niggles. So glad we did! The visit has totally changed our approach and our dog is much happier. Some of the basic things he taught us were like switching a light on and afterwards I can honestly say that I cannot believe I have not taught my dogs this before. He left us much more positive and our working dog is happier with her brain being kept busy. Martin came to our house today to help with our 2 year old Labrador. I can not believe what a difference a few hours with Martin has made. I am absolutely stunned and overjoyed by the amount of progress already made. I have a clear plan to work to and am so excited to see further progress being made. Thank you to Martin who came and visited us today to help with our 7 month old German shepherd/ collie cross. The improvement in just a few hours is amazing and we are looking forward to continuing to put all of the techniques we have learnt into practice.

OMG what a difference a professional dog training session makes! Just one session and my Dukey (a big boisterous Rottweiler pup) has stopped jumping on everyone!
