I was having issues with my laptop, signs that made it seem like the CMOS battery had gone and was causing some time/date and bios issues. I've replaced that and it seemed like everything was working perfectly again. Until eventually the laptop just turned off and would not turn back on again. I've reached out to Manchester PC who had remarkable reviews and a very appealing service; with a collection and returns from a Manchester location. They had looked into the issue and it seems the Motherboard was not repairable, a replacement was needed. Unfortunately there were no replacement parts available for my system at the time. They kindly returned the laptop at no charge, even though time was taken to attempt a repair. I had to get the manufacturer to repair/replace the faulty components in the end as they had those on hand. Even though unsuccessful this time, Manchester PC provided a very professional service. One I would recommend to anyone who is having Computer issues that are beyond their scope of fixing. Very happy customer. Pick up and return were incredibly quick at each end (pay by 7a.m. and they return the device that same morning). I sent in a laptop that had been running very slowly. A massive thanks to the team at Manchester PC! I recently sent my 2014 iMac in for an upgrade to fit an SSD internally, I didn't trust myself to take the screen out. I wish I'd have thought to have done this years ago! I'm really glad that there's a convenient option for this kind of request here in Manchester, as well as it being a brilliant way of reducing tech waste and obsolescence. Excellent service. I was sceptical about just handing my laptop over and sending money before seeing it, however, the process was excellent. It was picked up from me on a Monday morning, by Wednesday evening I had the report that it was in final testing and to pay the invoice. I paid this at 10pm on the Wednesday evening and by 9.30 the following morning it was delivered to me. Special mention to the person doing the pick up and drop off, he was great. I contacted Manchester PC because of a laptop issue I was unable to resolve myself. My device was collected from my home address and almost immediately I received an email receipt also I was constantly updated with information regarding progress of the repair. Rang them to ask if they could replace a broken usb-c charging port on the circuit board of my Grandsons chromebook - I told them they didn't have to do a teardown as I had removed the board (I haven't got my fine soldering tools or steady hands nowadays) Unfortunately they rang back to say " It's not something we can take on as we don't repair chromebooks". Great result in getting my laptop repaired, replaced a faulty screen for which they had previously quoted for after I gave them a description of the fault, the fact that they pick up and deliver it back after repair is fantastic, great customer service and a fast turn around, if you require a PC repair you could do a lot worse than giving Manchester-PC a call.

I needed a new LCD screen for my HP desktop due to it cracking. I had given up having contacted around 6 companies previously who were unable to source the screen. so I weren’t holding my breath with Manchester PC.Emailed MPC on the morning by mid afternoon I received a quote with a detailed breakdown of what work would be carried out. I was chuffed and the price was reasonable too. So I proceeded with the repair, MPC came to collect and return my PC the date and time I specified. Gentleman who collected it was wearing the uniform so easily identified. He was pleasant, didn’t block my drive(1 of my bug bearers) and off he went, you don’t have to even worry about packaging, just give them your device. Collection, repair and the return of my PC took 1 week in total. They told me my pc was repaired on Tuesday and by Wednesday at 10am they had returned it. You don’t pay until they email you saying they’ve repaired your device and as long as funds clear before 20:00 on the day you receive your invoice they’ll return your device to you the following day. I can’t thank these people enough. The process was so easy, no worry, no stress and now I have my pc back looking and feeling all brand new….
