Amazing MUA! Over the moon with my bridesmaid make up after initially being scared as I'm a minimal makeup girl. I have reviewed Joanna in the past having been really impressed with her occasion make-up. Since then, she has done my entire wedding party and I cannot state enough how-thankful/grateful I am. Not only did she go out of her way to get up early and travel (despite being a busy mum) she made myself and the entire wedding party feel at ease (my mother, three bridesmaids and myself) and this made such a difference to my wedding. She was on hand to touch up the bridesmaids and myself and was a complete perfectionist and that really shows in her work and in her appearance. I am so happy with my make up-she made me look like a better version of me and that is a subtle and much appreciated art form. Thank you for going out of your way to choose the palette especially for me and in really going the extra mile. I must also add that Jo's 'box of tricks' is kept immaculate and you can tell that Joanna enjoys what she does as her passion and enthusiasm shines through in her work. The whole experience from the trial; where Joanna put me at ease with her natural and affable manner and understated elegance to the pre-wedding advice and tips, excellent communication and on the day itself was more than I could have hoped for. For the trial, Joanna was really flexible around me and my childcare and had a good knowledge of me before she arrived, pre-selecting different foundations which were amazingly light yet provided a beautiful (and Matt) photo finish. The most stunning for me was the eye make up in which she manages miracles without it looking over the top. She brings out your colourings with a beautiful and pretty palette. Everything is obviously new and well looked after with a vast selection and it is clear she takes so much pride in her work and in herself. A highly professional and experienced artist that sticks to an obvious traditional school of creativity to bring out your features in the most timeless way if you don't normally wear much make-up also, she is brilliant as it is so subtle yet effective and yet she can creative different moods for different functions as I experienced. I got married two years ago and she also did my hen party and I felt like the best version of myself I've ever been. Thank you for making me up and making me feel beautiful!
