Thanks a million to Lisa and her team My husband and I had a bit of a cake disaster the day before our wedding. Lisa and her team managed to make a beautiful semi naked cake for us in less than 24 hours - she was so kind and helpful when my Mum and bridesmaid dashed in last minute asking for help! And the cake itself was just amazing - it looked and tasted the best and was a real hit with everyone. Plus it was a real centre point for the day. We recently had a party in the Kew area and were looking for a company that could make a selection of cakes and desserts for our guests. We came across Madeleine's Cake Boutique and from the start, we were in contact with Lisa who was so helpful, initially by arranging for us to come in for a tasting session followed by coming up with amazing ideas about what we could have. When the cakes arrived, they looked fabulous and they tasted even better, everyone said how amazing they were and unfortunately for us, there was hardly anything left over at the end! A beautiful place to have a bespoke cake made. We had our wedding cake made here in April 2015, by the wonderful and helpful team. The cake they made was spectacular, a red velvet cake with white roses on top and white chocolate. On the day there wasn't a crumb left, everyone asked who had made it!! I have designed and ordered my daughters birthday cakes as well as Easter and Christmas cakes from Madeleine's. All delivered to time, looking amazing and simply delicious. From start to end the team are professional, kind and fun to work with. Not only do their cakes look fantastic but they taste amazing. I also love that they use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients.My 7 year old daughter has attended the cookery classes run by the team and enjoyed them hugely. Continuing to put all that training to good use at home. She even cleans up.We are unable walk past without my 2 year old daughter requesting a slice of our beloved Chocolate Guinness Cake. What better way to enjoy a late morning/afternoon treat than to head to Madeleine's in East Sheen. Since this place opened its doors, my fiancé and I have enjoyed the shop's namesake madeleines and cakes far more often than we should! My other half is a particular fan of the carrot cake and Guinness cake, but my favourite so far has to be the chocolate and hazelnut cake - moist, rich and delicious. Lisa and her team do magical things with cakes. I cannot recommend them more highly to you. Lisa's team are expert in what they do, and are trusted by my family to cater our events time and time again.

There's a review on here with one star, but it's clearly a fake. Who claims to spend £40 on a cake but then goes to Asda to replace it given there's a Waitrose directly over the road from the shop. Also, try punctuation. More...
