Hypnotherapy
I couldn’t recommend Lyanne highly enough. Lyanne has helped me so much with my pain that I have had for so long. Lyanne was welcoming, made me feel very comfortable and took the time to listen to me. I also couldn’t believe how well and quickly the hypnosis worked. I would highly recommend Lyanne and this treatment More...

Reply from Lyanne Pudney, Online Anxiety Therapist
Thanks Rebecca for your kind words. Some clients arrive ready to conquer their anxiety & just need a helping hand to get them on their way. You are most definitely one of them & I know you will achieve all of your goals :-)
What do you love most about your job?
When clients leave therapy with their issues resolved - there's no better feeling than knowing someone has the tools & strength they need to deal with things on their own.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am an 'accidental' therapist - I was learning about language psychology when we covered 'phobia cures'. Once I'd helped someone get over their flying phobia I was hooked! I have since trained in Counselling, Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy and although it can be tough emotionally some days, this is the most rewarding career in the world.
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe that if you understand why you are struggling with a certain aspect of life, it is much easier to find your solution & make it permanent.
I am down to earth, approachable & human. If I feel that you would do better with someone else I will tell you, and I don't believe in re-traumatising clients to resolve their issues - there are far more comfortable ways to recover in modern therapy.
Counselling
Whether you want to get your anxiety levels under control, or are looking to understand yourself more deeply, talking things through can really help. Just getting it out to someone who is trained to listen properly can feel like a weight is lifted. Together we will unravel why you are feeling the way you do - sometimes that's enough but with issues like anxiety or trauma, there are strategies you can learn to help you feel better, so you can start living your life fully.
Hypnotherapy
Your unconscious mind is like a huge memory store - it's what makes you react and behave in the way you do. If there's something you want to change Hypnotherapy is a great way to cause change at a deep level. It's nothing like stage Hypnosis (Sorry - I can't make you cluck like a chicken!). Actually you have to allow me to Hypnotise you for it to work, but when you do, you'll be amazed by the results. Clients often tell me they feel totally refreshed after a session and if I've given them a recording to take home it helps them sleep too.
You can listen to everything being said if you wish - you're not 'unconscious' at all - just very relaxed and in control. Once you've experienced it for yourself you'll find you enjoy it and naturally will go deeper relaxed once the initial curiosity is dealt with.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is really just another term for talking therapy, although I would say that it is more technique based. I am trained specifically in Psychotherapy techniques to help you deal with and overcome Trauma, Anxiety, Phobias for example.
This is naturally blended into my sessions whether you have come for Counselling or Hypnotherapy, because as we talk I will be thinking of the best ways to help you and usually something occurs to me that we could try in addition.
