Yes it's an old stadium but it has such a nostalgic feed to it one of the last old stadiums to survive in the championship .Very efficient friendly staff .

If you was going to build a football stadium in the twenty first century, you wouldn't do it here, but that's not a good enough reason to arm wrestle the local council to let you start all over again, on top of the ruins of a demolished power station. Yes, there might be more legroom, in a new main stand, that wasn't designed for Lilliputians... Yes, there might be clear sight lines, for three more sides of the ground, and an end to having a conservatory showroom down the fourth. Or executive boxes David Evans style!..Yes it won't be hemmed in by terraced housing, on three sides, and guided busways, and railway lines, on the other...But, and it's a very big but... The new place will not be unique, it will not be historic, it will not be awkward, and inconvenient...It will be none of the things, that Kenilworth Road is, no matter what the planners claim and promise... It will have no soul.This place has that by the bucket load, and I thoroughly recommend it. More...
