After having had issues with our previous veterinary surgery with our beloved elderly cat Tigerlilly, we found Andrew who was honest and sensitive from the outset. Unfortunately, Tigerlilly had a number of complex health issues and we had to make the very difficult decision to put her down. Andrew supported us throughout the process with empathy and kindness. My dog suddenly became very ill a couple of weeks ago and in a panic I called and was immediately seen. Andrew was very thorough and took my concerns seriously. By process of elimination and undertaking tests, then X-ray then ultimately an ultrasound he discovered that my dog had a small cancerous tumour on intestine which needed further investigation and hopefully removal. Andrew decided that it would be best for my dog to refer her to specialist surgical vet referral centre. Thankfully my dog has now recovered from the surgery and vets are optimistic that the cancer hasn’t spread, as it was caught early, and she will hopefully make a full recovery. The training for me was very informative and taught me things I would never have thought of. Ever since little Charlie has been easier to deal with and I am not getting bitten so much. Luke was friendly, and thoughtful about Charlie's needs and my own, after all it was me who needed the training. I have already recommended Luke to my brother who has 2 Westie puppies and he could benefit just as I did. I need a second visit in the next couple of weeks to cover things Luke was unable to cover in the first session. We brought our puppy home knowing very little about dogs, and it was very daunting. Andrew is an excellent vet i was looking for someone who cares about animals and is not just in the profession to make money unlike the majority of chain of vets. I have 11 cats which can be very costly to maintain so it's great to find someone whose charges are reasonable and who doesn't push unecessary medications or treatments to make more money. Sadly, our much-loved cat Tucker passed away recently, but Andrew Monchar did absolutely everything possible to try and save him. We are extremely grateful to him for being so exhaustive in his treatment and sensitive/empathetic when it came to handling his death. I brought a new puppy. I was looking for a dog trainer for about 3 weeks. I was looking at few.. all other dog trainers was really expensive. I went with Luke as I thought it was a reasonable price. When he came I straight away knew he knew everything he was talking about. He was able to advice me on every issue and help me to resolve it for me and dolly to build a bond. He helped me and showed me things that I thought dolly was never even cable of doing, he helped me to get to know my dog and to resolve all my concerns. As soon as you meet Luke you can tell how much he loves dogs and he just isn’t doing this as a job for money. I received the BEST service at a affordable price. Super super happy thanks Luke!! Newt is a rescue dog from Romania and our trusty Production Assistant at Crafty Beggars TV ! Luke came to our house and over 2/3 hours Gary (my husband! ) and I were really stunned at the fascinating insights Luke was giving us... the dog psychology he described all made complete sense and Luke gave us lots of jobs to work on with Newt over the coming weeks. We found Luke through our local vet. Having previously tried a trainer who worked on intimidation of our puppy, Luke’s approach was the polar opposite. Warm and loving his approach is positive re-enforcement and was far more fitting for our family. Our puppy is pretty hyper, very jumpy and liked to chew / bite. She’s still hyper and jumpy but in a more controlled way. We learned how to teach her to stop her chewing and biting people and clothes, how to walk nicely and and most importantly recall. Working with Luke has been so productive and such a thoroughly worthwhile experience.

Luke has had his work cut out with working with a 3 yr old, joyful cavapoo who rules the roost, and an adorable but extremely timid rescue dog who was expereincing so many new and overwhelming things having been used as a breeding dog in a puppy farm.

I cannot believe that five sessions in I am writing to say that Luke has worked magic. Our two dogs are living harmoniously and we are following through on Luke's invaluable advice.

Luke also helped my 12yr old son work with both dogs and gave him some wonderful tips on how to achieve their trust and have them follow commands.
