We really cannot thank or recommend Lukas at Catching The Moments highly enough. We were very lucky to have been recommended Lukas as our wedding photographer by a friend, but honestly the quality and beauty of his work surpassed all of our expectations. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he goes out of his way to capture every moment and every feeling throughout the day. We had a wonderful engagement shoot with him in Glencoe prior to the wedding, and we were absolutely blown away by the photographs from that day and so were very excited to see what our wedding photos would be like. On the wedding day itself, Lukas was a perfect gentlemen. He is so unobtrusive and unassuming, yet manages to somehow capture every look and every emotion of the day perfectly. We really think you would struggle to find a better documentary photographer anywhere. Lukas photographed our wedding at our family home in East Lothian and produced the most beautiful, personal, natural photos which really captured the day. We couldn’t recommend Lukas enough as a wedding photographer. He met with us before the wedding to ask what we wanted from the day and also met up with us at a separate time to do an engagement shoot which made us feel a lot more comfortable when it came to our wedding day. He was never intrusive and caught moments that we had missed on the day as well as capturing the family shots that we requested. Lukas is a great photographer! We had a very small wedding with the closest family and wanted everything to be relaxed on the day. Lukas helped a great deal with this and blended in almost as if he were not there, which was exactly what we wanted as the best photographs are when they are not staged. Lukas was absolutely fantastic on our wedding day at Dunglass Estate, East Lothian. We wanted someone to just capture the emotion and essence of the day and he did exactly that. We could not have wished for a better photographer. Lukas has captured the most amazing shots of our wedding day and has told the story of the most important day of our lives from start to finish. We knew he was amazing but when we actually saw our images we were totally blown away. The happiness on our faces, the children playing, intimate moments and people having fun - he captured everything without us even knowing it. We love our photos! So much so that rather than have our favourite printed for our wall we now have a selection of 12 with a couple of photos from the engagement shoot too! We booked Lukas for our parents Golden Wedding Anniversary Party and he was extremely efficient and very professional throughout. He was very unobtrusive throughout the dinner and party and really did manage to "catch the moments", producing some excellent photos. Several guests commented on the way in which he was focused, no pun intended, on capturing the best shots throughout the evening. We were really excited to stumble across Catching the Moment’s website as all of the photos were more candid, and seemed to capture the emotions of a wedding day, rather than the typical staged and posed shots. From first contact, Lukas has been very helpful and professional. During the engagement photo-shoot, we discovered that he’s more like a ninja-photographer and strives to ensure that we are comfortable in front of his camera. I can’t thank Lukas enough for our gorgeous wedding photos. They are simply stunning and so natural. We wanted our photos to feel relaxed and to capture lots of smiling faces, that’s exactly what we have. Lukas was professional right from the beginning with good communication before the wedding, a fab engagement shoot in a place special to us and lots of contact leading up to the day.
