Inca my Standard Schnauzer was hand stripped at Lucky Paws today and I am over the moon with the result. She had a disastrous groom elsewhere back in September and I’ve been growing her out since. Booked my staff in for a bath to test his temperament with the girls before I book him in for nails and teeth. They were very attentive and he was calm and behaved all the way through. Our lovely dog Seth is a rescue and when we got him was afraid of his own shadow. In addition to this he absolutely hates water, making bathing him at home a nightmare. Although he lashed out the first few times he came, the last groom he had on Sunday was a bit of a triumph. Everyone at lucky paws are so so good with Seth, they are patient and kind and even came out to help us when he had an accident a few months back outside the salon. After my Harley looking worse for ware after having a dip in the pool a day before I bought him in for his full groom Monday and he looks amazing! Never been able to get his fur so soft, he looks like a completely new dog. All staff are friendly and talkative and happy to answer any questions. They even got my Yorkie Milly to be calm with getting her nails clipped which no one has ever done! Won't be taking them anywhere else, all my dogs love it there! � More...

I visited the salon yesterday for the first time with my elderly collie cross.
All the staff were friendly and made my dog look, feel and smell amazing! Her coat has never looked so shiny and healthy.
I paid a little bit more for some extra pampering - well worth it.
My girl isn't used to being bathed and groomed by strangers and can be a little nervous but I was totally happy to leave her in their care.
Sam the owner is lovely and was so helpful when I phoned to book and ask questions.
I'd definitely recommend the salon which also has some fab pet accessories for sale More...

Took my Westie Bonnie in today and was welcomed by friendly staff. Was worried because she has sensitive skin and hates her nails being cut (I can't go anywhere near her with clippers) but they were so understanding and said that they use sensitive skin shampoo.
When I went back to collect her she looked so lovely and they told me what a lovely dog she is and that she was no trouble at all and they managed to clip her nails with no trouble.

This is 1st time I have took Bonnie there but after today I will be continuing to take her there from now on and really recommend this place to any one.

I searched for ages for a groomer that would be happy to deal with my two rescue dogs. It was their first groom so I didn't want to stress them out unnecessarily and was unsure how they'd react.

What an amazing place! Very professional yet very caring. The prices are reasonable too.

Buster"s 1st visit. Lovely people and terrific grooming. Can't wait to see the before and after photos. He looked like a toilet brush on the way in�. So they had a challenge. Lucky Paws were wonderful with my rescue dog who can get very anxious. His wash and cut was amazing and he had a nail clip and paw pad treatment too.
