I hired a car form Love Classics for a film shoot. It was a lovely blue Jag. They dropped it off and picked it up form the location in good time. I hired the E type Jaguar for my boyfriends birthday and it was such a great day out. Easy pick up/ drop off of the Jag along with a detailed brief on how to drive the car and a test drive with the owner. There are no faults I can give to the whole experience. Overall, an amazing day that I would happily do again, I would recommend this day to anyone who has a secret love for vintage cars or just wants to try something a little different as a fun day out or weekend away! Jaguar E-Type, sunny day, open roads of Herts, Essex and Suffolk. I've had a provisional booking for over a year on this car, and the service has been excellent throughout. Hired the wonderful Mercedes for three days to the cotswolds.It was a joy to drive,with the roof open and all the windows down,on a warm July evening,it felt like a open top car. The boot was plenty big enough,for the over night bags and picnic stuff.Its a good car if you haven't hired, a classic car before,as its handles, very much like a modern car,power steering,good headlights and automatic transmission.Got a few good comments, from other drivers "great car" even in the petrol station, before i could say, which pump i was at..."oh the beautiful classic ,on pump one". Wonderful day out in the E Type - for my mother's 80th birthday! Michele went out of his way to make sure I could view the car before committing, keep me informed when it had to go in for a repair the day before, and clearly pulled out all the stops to make sure it was ready for us on the day itself. When rain threatened he offered a rain check. The car was a joy to drive, very comfortable, lots of fun, it still clearly likes speed and no trouble at all on the motorway! Great service, hired their gold Mercedes for a weekend. The car drives smoothly and looks amazing the condition of the car is superb for the year, the car's over 40 years old. The ability to play my own music was appreciated and the interior is perfect (probably renewed). Collection and drop of were smooth and the guys were helpful both before and during the trip with updating me on how to fill up with petrol (the inlet is at the rear of the car).
