Absolute pleasure working with Emily & The Team at Longhurst’s Laundry & Cleaning. We have been utilising their excellent services in our busy haulage Depot for approximately 12 months, and every week they are on time, extremely thorough, great attention to detail and work with us to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest of standards. We have a brilliant cleaner who is with us each week, Jade gets in with everyone and is known and trusted throughout the Depot and is an absolute pleasure to have around. Nothing is too much trouble, and works very hard to ensure everything is achieved to the highest of standards every time. We are kept informed of any holidays etc which would require an alternative member of the Team to attend and would be notified of their details in advance. Emily is very communicative and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and a real pleasure to work with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Longhurst’s Laundry & Cleaning. How long have you been in business?
The owner of Longhurst’s Laundry & Cleaning has been a cleaner for over a long period of time, working in a variety of domestic and business properties such as schools, offices, restaurants & car dealerships.
In October 2019, Emily the owner decided that she wanted to become independent, to be able to be her own boss and choose her own hours! She now run a successful business with highly trained staff - giving back to the local community and supporting others that need a good work/life balance to fit in with their family and other commitments.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
We provide all cleaning products, vacuum, mop and cloths, all items are cleaned for each property.
What do you love most about your job?
We thrive off helping others and making a difference to other people’s lives. We love hearing positive feedback off clients about how they love their cleaning day and knowing they can come home from a busy day at work to relax with their family.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Emily wanted to be her own boss, work around her own family life. She also felt very frustrated dealing with management and working alongside staff that didn’t have the same passion for cleaning as she did.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer a fantastic quality of service, including infection control trained staff. We are friendly, approachable and reliable. We are very thorough and love cleaning!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Ensuring we operate using the best quality products, invested in disinfectant, training on how to use it correctly, making sure everyone is health & well prior to cleaning, maintaining 2 meters at all times and washing hands prior to and after cleaning.
