Longcat and Robert's recently catered my 80th birthday party.
It was based on afternoon tea.
It was beautifully displayed, the food both sweet and savoury was pleasing to the eye and delicious.
As for the individual trifles words cannot describe their deliciousness.

What’s your signature dish?
Do we have to have just one? I’m a massive fan of our canapés and our unique manapes! We spend days perfecting the flavour combinations and design so I taste a lot! Sue has more self control than me!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We always start with the style of the event then the ages and types of guests, then we build the menu around our clients. What never changes is that we only use fresh food which is made exclusively for the event; we don’t batch cook or freeze months in advance which is the industry norm.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating amazing menus for our amazing clients - oh and taster sessions!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Both Sue & I come from hospitality and catering backgrounds; Sue as an accomplished private chef and independent caterer, and I am a corporate chef and catering & hospitality executive so we’ve seen the type of food that is out there, and for us, it’s just simply not good enough! 
We wanted more, and we wanted better for our clients so we began taking on more and more private events but we were still being hamstrung by greedy business owners, so LongCat & Roberts was born.
Now we are free to offer the ‘catering magic’ that we know you deserve.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our prep kitchens are completely Covid safe, both Sue and I test daily, our staff do not enter the prep kitchens and on delivery and service days, the whole team are tested and wear disposable kit until delivery is complete.
We also provide doorstep deliveries for our clients!

Manapes
Our USP, bigger than a bite but smaller than a bowl, our Manapes are crowd pleasers. Made from the freshest ingredients for your event, nothing frozen, nothing batch cooked a month before
Grazing
Sweet or savoury, our grazing platters and tables are designed with your tastes in mind! We don’t do set menus, we don’t tell you what you’re going to eat, we’ll create a bespoke menu based around your ideas. Always fresh, never frozen, and never batch cooked months in advance
Buffet
Beautifully displayed, fresh, never frozen, buffet tables that will make your guests want to dive in headfirst! Our portions are generous, and every single item is made with love - and the freshest locally sourced ingredients available. 
Afternoon Tea
But available any time of the day! We suggest combining a traditional tea with a selection of our manapes, nobody goes home hungry, everybody goes home with a smile on their face and you get bragging rights!
Who can resist home-made baked goods and cakes, freshly made sandwiches, a selection of sweet and savoury treats and childhood favourites and lashings of fresh cream and (seasonality dependent) home-made jams!
Dinner Parties
And yes, you can claim you did all the work and let your friends be jealous of your amazing catering skills! A bespoke menu, the freshest, locally sourced ingredients prepared/delivered on site ready for you to serve! Unlike our competitors, we don’t pre-batch cook our food, everything is freshly sourced and freshly made for your event, where possible and dependent on availability and seasonality, we also make our own sauces, jams and dressings!

Canapes, manapes, grazing and buffet tables, sweet or savoury, or both, the choice is yours, our food is generous, freshly made using locally sourced ingredients and prepared with love! We can also style and decorate your chosen space with whatever promotional or style related materials you select.
