I used Lloyds of Essex for my move from a studio flat to a mid-terrace house. From my initial phone enquiry through to completion of the removal process at the new house, the service and caring has been impeccable. Julie was so helpful and efficient on the admin side, and Andy and his assistant Josh were fantastic on the logistics and practicalities of the actual removal, disassembling and reassembling. They handled problems with access brilliantly. I am thoroughly impressed with what they achieved in such short time span, and the excellent human approach of the family-run business made all the difference by taking all the stress out of my move. I felt absolutely confident and secure with the way they handled it from start to finish, and I think of them now as friends, they are all such lovely people. An absolutely FANTASTIC removal company. We got three quotes for our move from Essex to Yorkshire. Lloyds came out cheapest, and our initial reaction was, "is it cheaper for a reason? " We needn't have worried - their service from start to finish was nothing less than perfect! They arrived on time, made no fuss of anything, kept our kids entertained and helped keep us relaxed during a stressful day. They drove from Essex to York, had unloaded, helped put beds together and kept everything clear and tidy. I cannot find one thing to fault about their service. In the process of moving house it was necessary to find a firm that could remove my home contents to storage (6 weeks) and then deliver to my new home once the sale had been completed. From the first contact Julie in the office showed her skills and experience making all of the arrangements with superb efficiency. On removal day the lorry arrived punctually having driven 80 miles around the M25 early in the morning. The three men had to take the contents of my flat down 4 flights of stairs. There was never a complaint. They cheerfully set to work and ensured that all items including the Grandfather clock was carefully wrapped and loaded securely on the lorry. Everything was then placed in store. I contacted Julie again on completion and she was able to arrange delivery to my new home on a day to suit myself. The men have just finished this work on what has proved the hottest day of the year. 35 degrees, but with no complaints. They cheerfully put everything just where I wanted it, even carrying the beds and wardrobes upstairs. Lloyds have excelled themselves. I am hoping that this will be my last move, but if I needed to use a removal firm again, I would have no hesitation in contacting Lloyds. They have been just great - thank you to everyone. More...

Simply amazing! The guys are so friendly yet very professional, I can't rate them highly enough. They did everything we needed them to do and nothing was too much. They made sure everything was where it should be and even remembered which drawers went where. I know that's not a big thing, but it's one less thing to sort out. Lloyds moved us yesterday and we were so pleased with their service that we feel we need to say thank you today. They are extremely professional and put us at ease through the whole move and didn't even stop for lunch. On move day they worked non stop for 12 hours, nothing was too much trouble.
