Never having been one for going to the gym (serious inferiority complex!) I decided to give Matty a go on the suggestion of a work colleague. Couldn't have been more helpful. He has given me continuous advice, motivation and support on all matters exercise and nutrition-related. Starting to not only see a difference in body shape, but also feel generally better all round - physical health and mentality towards exercise. Can't really fault him! Cheers Matty. More...

Since starting with Matty last summer I've began to look after my health and fitness a lot more now. I stopped smoking in August and training with Matty has given me the edge to do this. We train twice a week at BJ's fitness and all the group just get on and we have a lot of fun and wind ups which make the sessions better and we all motivate each other. I personally have now have a small gym in the garage which I use on days not with Matty and again this is down to motivation with Matty and the other lads. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to get their fitness and health in shape to give Matty a try it's definitely worked for me and life is easier!! More...

I started training with Matty in September, in my initial consultation Matty asked me what I wanted to achieve. I told Matty that I wanted to lose 2 stone by Christmas to which he replied, ‘it is achievable but you really need to put the work and effort in’….
I did. Three months later, just before Christmas I hit my goal of losing the 2 stone which is an amazing result in such a short time. This has been totally down to Matty and his training methods, knowledge, encouragement, commitment and advice on nutrition. Not only have I lost weight, I have gained muscle definition and strength, my plank time has gone from an agonising 1 minute to 5 minutes which is again a massive improvement in such a short time. Every training session is different which makes the sessions at the gym more enjoyable and Matty’s friendly personality creates a relaxed comfortable atmosphere.
If you are serious about changing your life Matty will help you every step of the way but remember just seeing a personal trainer will not make youu lose weight, you really need to want it and train hard to achieve your goals.
I would have no reservations in recommending Matty Young to anyone who wants to use the services of a personal trainer.
