What do you love most about your job?
The most satisfying aspect of film making is getting to know our clients and their organisations so that we can help them tell their stories in the most engaging and impactful way. Our clients are passionate about what they do and it is our job to make sure this passion is captured in our films.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Running our own business gives us the freedom to express ourselves without having to worry about compromising our ideas and beliefs, which can often be the case in larger organisations. This allows all our focus to be on our clients and making sure their visions are realised.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a small company we are in a position to offer our clients an intimate service where we can connect with them in a more meaningful way than larger organisations. We have fewer layers, fewer employees, more efficient operations. This makes it possible to offer our clients great value for money as well as a close working relationship and quality output.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid-19 has created many obstacles for our industry and we make every effort to conduct our business safely and responsibly in line with Government guidelines. Each project is looked at carefully and a full risk assessment is prepared before any production commences.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
Light Touch offer a comprehensive video production service from concept to publication.
PHASE 1: DEVELOPMENT
The develoment stage is when we discuss your project with you to determine what you want to achieve with your video. Once this is done we can then prepare our proposal outlining the concept, production plan, timeline and budget.
PHASE 2: PRE-PRODUCTION
This is where we prepare all the ingredients for a successful video shoot. Pre-production includes wrting the script, creating storyboards, preparing the production schedule, scouting locations, as well as sourcing additional equipment where necessary. This is also the stage where we would cast actors should the project require them.
PHASE 3: PRODUCTION
The production phase is the fun bit. This is where we roll camera and record all the pieces that will fit together for a successful video.
PHASE 4: POST-PRODUCTION
This is the editing stage. Once we have all the filming complete it is time to put it together to create that final magic. The post-production phase includes editing the film together, adding music and voiceovers, creating titles, credits and special effects and, adjusting the colour and audio. Once this is complete we export the finished video to all formats required by the client.
