The cake was very well received by all the family in Orkney. Due to unusual amount of snow, we were unable to fly on the scheduled day but did a couple of days later. HUGE thanks to Alicks for making this adorable cake for my parents' golden wedding anniversary.

My poor wee mum was in hospital over the anniversary, so it was quite a difficult and upsetting time for the family. Alicks treated us with real care and kindness, taking time to get things right by speaking to me and my dad, looking at photos, paying attention to detail and checking in with us on the design.

We were absolutely delighted with the cake and it tasted amazing too.

Ordered a birthday cake and some cupcakes for a 40th Birthday- the service received was second to none and the cakes were delicious! I had requested a ‘Gameboy’ shaped cake and the end result was fantastic- the birthday boy was delighted and even the staff at Prestonfield were commenting on how great the cake looked. We ordered a Pokémon cake for my sons 6th birthday and he absolutely loved it! We gave Alicks a brief on what we were looking for and the design he came up with was great. Not only did the cake look amazing but it tastes wonderful! The cake was gluten free so my daughter could eat it as well but it did not taste any different to a normal cake, everyone who tried it enjoyed it. I loved my Wedding Cake. Quite simply the best I have ever tasted and the design look even better than I could have imagine. Very professional and they could even cater for my all quest. We have had a great experience using Licks both for our wedding cake and a couple of specialist gluten free birthday cakes. Alicks is a very friendly and helpful chap to deal with and the cakes we've had have all been delicious and stylish.

For wedding cakes there are a large selection of flavours to choose from, which were all appreciated by our guests (there was no cake left over! ). We also found the pricing for wedding cakes really good value compared to other local suppliers. More...
