I am a personal trainer first and foremost with a specialism in Boxing.

As an ex-professional boxer who has mixed in very good company amongst fighters such as Tyson Fury, Matthew Macklin and Anthony Crolla to name a few I embarked upon a journey into personal training almost 5 years ago.

Liam is an excellent trainer who always keeps the sessions exciting and pushes you to your limits. He uses a variety of equipment, weights and techniques to help achieve your goals which helps keeps motivation high. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for the next level in personal training. He’s not a bad boxer too! More...

After two rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery I was in a sorry state. Trying to return to training on my own wasn't working. Liam was recommended to me and from the first meeting with him I was inspired. His sessions initially focused on identifying my weaknesses and building up my strength doing his own research in terms of the impact of my treatment. His sessions were fun, informed and motivating. I have been working with Liam for over a year now utilising weights, cardio and boxing. My strength, mobility and self confidence have improved massively.
Liam is really approachable, friendly and has lots of experience making sessions fun as well as tough.

I've trained with Liam for around 3 years initially I wanted to train with someone because I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I'd had gym memberships before but either not gone on a regular basis or just ended doing the same thing over and over again. Liam listened to what I wanted to achieve and created a plan to help me achieve it. The exercises were varied, challenging but fun. We did weight based training which I'd never done before but found it really enjoyable and we boxed too.
We achieved my goals and more besides 😊 and I continued training with Liam because he pushes me and challenges me but all while keeping the training fun and fresh. Would definitely recommend Liam to anyone who is looking to achieve a goal in the gym, or simply want to freshen things up.

I trained with Liam for about a year. After the first couple of sessions I asked to do some boxing training with Liam and never looked back. Truly excellent training, plenty of theory and technique, coupled with an intense and productive workout. I saw strong and consistent progress, and was on a high after every session. I only stopped as I had to move to the south for work.
If I win the lottery I will be paying for Liam to fly down and train me! I would recommend Liam in a heartbeat.

I recommend Liam to everyone at the gym and that's simply because there's no other PT like him.

I trained with Liam for almost 3 years when I lived in Manchester - I'm still yet to find another trainer who I like training with as much as him.

A talented guy who can get the best out of anyone with a real love and passion for boxing and being able to pass on his skills and knowledge.

I’ve been training with Liam over the past 18 months with a mixture of boxing, weight training and HIIT.

I’ve been with personal trainers before and never really stayed with them longer than a few months as I really just felt like a number on their target sheet, but with Liam it was more like a partnership and that I was literally training with a mate.

Aswell as helping me on my fitness journey, I grew a lot in confidence thanks to his motivation and his workouts.

He’s annoyingly very adaptable too, who knew there were about 100 different ways to do a push up or a lunge

I never thought I’d take up boxing either but just watch him in action and I bet you have a go at it too

I have been training with Liam for three years and would highly recommend him.

You develop a love hate relationship with him as a PT because each session is different, challenging and hard work, BUT you feel and notice the difference in your strength and fitness.

Liam is knowledgeable, adaptable and encouraging. The mixture of boxing, HIIT and strength training is great.

Just watch out for the occasional knock when you are boxing with him! Haha

I use structured weight training programmings based around my clients abilities alongside bodyweight circuit exercises and powerful high intensity cardio sessions with a boxing twist.

I also offer boxing tuition and technical training to allow my clients if they desire to learn new skill that can come in useful in sport or on the streets.

Consistency, determination, focus, accountability and guidance are the keys to the dream!

these are the principles I base my personal training business around without making it dull!

I absolutely adore seeing a client come to me who has struggled with body image with low self esteem and watching their confidence grow over the time they spend training with until eventually they are almost unrecognisable to the person who came to me for their very first session!

On a shorter term basis I also love having a client come to me for a session in a foul mood and leave the session full of endorphins and happiness!

I began My Personal Training journey to use what I had learned a=s a skinny geeky kid turned professional boxer to help inspire people into learning fitness and boxing to show them that you don't have to remain what you believe you are, I love helping people and I believe the world should be founded on the principles of helping your fellow human to the best of your ability! so here I am!
