I've been working with Gill for the last couple of months now. She is really committed to helping me achieve the goals I set for myself - I'd say her style is positive, willing to challenge, respectful, and with lots of insightful questions!
Gill is able to break down issues to overcome in terms of priority and process - it's always delivered with a good mix of empathy and encouragement. I come away from our calls feeling motivated as well as clearer on the path forward.

I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

Q&As

Helping individuals to overcome challenges and self imposed limitations and enabling them to become the best version of the person they want to be.

The freedom to choose what organisations, projects and individuals to work with.

I am a dedicated coach who has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from many years of working in a range of organisations and situations. My experience enables me to demonstrate empathy and compassion towards my clients yet at the same time I am able to remain objective and focused on my clients' needs and their goals.

I am able to provide coaching online and also when restrictions are eased I am happy to provide my services face to face but always in line with Covid safe regulations that are in place at the time.

I work with my clients to agree how we can work in the online world that takes into account their physical settings and time restrictions. If we were to meet in a face to face situation, it would always be in line with Covid safe regulations that are in place at the time.

Services

Coaching can be particularly helpful when organizations or individuals are faced with some form of personal challenge, change or transition.

Coaching is a process that is client-led where, as a coach, my focus is to facilitate my client’s thinking and actions towards implementing solutions that are relevant to the issues they are dealing with. Coaching can be helpful in many contexts such as, relationship building, conflict resolution, confidence-building, life transitions, workplace performance, personal development and leadership development challenges.

The coaching relationship is fundamental to us working collaboratively and is built on trust, empathy, confidentiality, honesty and integrity. Together, we create a safe space to explore issues, ideas, opportunities and challenges and always with the intention of bringing about some form of change or transformation. I always begin any coaching engagement with an initial ‘Chemistry meeting’ to discuss expectations, focus, duration and frequency. I usually advise between 3 to 6 sessions over a period of not more than 6 months but all of this is discussed and agreed prior to the start of the coaching programme.

I am a professionally qualified coach and workplace mediator whose coaching practice and experience span across organization levels, generations and cultures. I am a Member of the Association of Coaching (AC) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD). I am the Course Director and Tutor for the Diploma in Coaching undergraduate programme, delivered through the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE), University of Cambridge.
