Charlie conducts private and group guitar lessons. He offers lessons at his fully equipped teaching room in Guildford as well as offering some limited time slots where he is able to travel to students in the wider Guildford area. He offers a range of tuition services which can be tailored to suit a group or individual lesson from a beginner through to an advanced level.

Charlie has been teaching my 10 year old for over 4 years and has also just started teaching my 5 year old. My eldest started with the Ukulele and worked up to and completed his Grade 2 before moving onto guitar. He recently passed Grade 1 Guitar after only one school term! Charlie clearly has a great rapport with all his students, he instills positivity and fun alongside the essential chord and string work. He also puts on assemblies with the children at school and the players perform at the school concert. They all play with keenness and I am sure this builds up their confidence in other areas. Charlie is a great guitar teacher and I feel lucky that we were recommended him about a year ago. We have had a few over the past ten years and he really is top notch. He is very technically proficient and very flexible and seems to be able to teach everything, he's currently supporting my son through Grade Eight plus a performance diploma. Charlie is a fantastic, first class guitar teacher. He has been teaching my son, Toby for over 2 years, who thoroughly enjoys his lessons. Charlie has a huge personality and is very easy to get on with. He levels the lessons to suit Toby's wants and needs. It is through Toby that Charlie now plays and teaches the ukelele. Charlie teaches my son at school via the Rock & Pop Foundation, and on my son's recommendation, I asked Charlie to teach me. He is an exceptional musician, displaying both technical skill, knowledge and musicality. Importantly, however, he is also a great teacher; he is personable, patient and able to convey knowledge regardless of the student’s ability or experience. Online Guitar Lessons
I provide online guitar, bass, ukulele & theory lessons using a variety of online platforms so that I’m able to provide lessons at a time which suits you.
All lesson material required can be sent via email prior to the lesson, in addition to any feedback or additional information required after the lesson as a follow-up.
