I offer a supportive, friendly, non-judgemental and confidential space where we can think about and explore together what's troubling you. It might be something you want to change, understand, or learn to accept.

Through my own personal experience, I understand that it can be difficult to start therapy and to choose a Counsellor. I am aware that it can feel uncomfortable and challenging, therefore I aim to support you on your journey by listening to you, by having empathy and understanding and by creating a warm, trusting relationship. We can work together to explore your thoughts and feelings and gain new perspectives about yourself and your situation.

I have an integrative counselling approach; this means I can tailor my approach to suit you. I draw upon a range of approaches and techniques, including person centred, psychodynamic and Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

You have just made the first important step for change in your life. You are about to ask for help. Perhaps you are feeling low, anxious or even just stressed. Admitting the need for a counsellor can seem daunting. However, there are times when it helps to have someone outside your immediate circle to talk to and make sense of thoughts, feelings or circumstances that may be causing you distress.

I offer a FREE 30-minute introductory session. In the first consultation we can discuss any questions you might have, explore what brings you to counselling and decide if it feels right for you.

Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health
Certificate in Understanding Autism
Certificate in Behaviour that Challenges in Children
I am a Registered Member of the BACP and fully insured. I work in private practice in Cullompton and Taunton and have experience working with both adults and children. I also provide counselling in primary and secondary schools.
