I particularly enjoy working with clients that obviously care about their gardens, but need a helping hand to enable them to make the most of it.

I can provide advice and planning services, such as helping to find the right plants for your space or setting out a maintenance schedule.
Weeding
From hoeing to digging out tough tap roots and identifying weeds. Wildlife conscious service. I can advise the best way to tackle invasive plants without relying on chemicals and prevent recurrance.
Planting
Including, but not limited to border design, transplantion, propagation and containers.
Cultivation
Soil improvement, double digging, mulching, starting off a no dig site, veg bed preparation, relieving compaction and poor drainage.
Pruning and training
Pruning at the right time, tying in trained fruit and ornamental plants. Topiary, small tree pruning and renovation pruning.
Staking and support
Advising and creating appropriate support. Natural staking can be both implemented and demonstrated.
