Jo is outstanding! Jo walks my two dogs three times a week and they love their Auntie Jo. I've never seen them so excited when her car pulls up! Jo handles Herbert perfectly as he can't cope with other dogs. Communication is great, Jo is flexible with holidays etc and overall such a relief knowing while we are at work they're still having fun! More...

Jo is simply amazing, we don't know what we would do without her. Our two dogs, Tilly & Midge adore Jo and their walks with her. We've had a very worrying time with Midge over the last year with emergency operations and the aftermath of these. We started with Jo in Sept 2017 and she has been so supportive with Midge, anything we're worried about I can text or call Jo before she visits the girls and she'll always text once she's been just to reassure me. She gives Midge her medication & some lunch, nothing's too much trouble. Jo comes twice a day for 15 minutes which works great for the girls (3 times a day at one point when Midge decided to scare us all for a few weeks!) You only have to tell our two that JoJo's coming and they almost push us out of the front door! Jo truly is a special lady and you can see by her fb photos how much her 'groupies' love her. More...

We are so so pleased we found Jo at leading the way pet services, she has made our holidays and time away so much more enjoyable because we know our cat is happy and safe in her own home. We couldn’t find a cattery with decent size cages so Jo gave us the perfect alternative. Ruby is happy and safe in her own home and has the run of the whole house . Jo visits her every day takes care of all her needs and even plays with her. On top of that she sends us photographs and updates every day, so every day while we are away we know Ruby is well looked after and happy. We cannot recommend Jo enough, her services are fantastic second to none. Even my husband who was a bit dubious about letting someone into our home, is more that happy and satisfied with letting her look after his precious Ruby. The prices are comparable with a cattery so it’s a no brainer. Also we leave her happy at home and return to her waiting for us , no upsetting trips to the cattery. Jo came to cat sit our Fur Babies, Obi-Wan and Leia whilst we were away on our holiday.

Jo was absolutely fantastic and made us feel so at ease knowing that she was coming in and spending time, playing and feeding. Jo sent me updates and pictures of my kitties, making our holiday so much more enjoyable as were weren't worrying. We have used Jo for 2 years now to regularly walk our Springer Spaniel, Alfie. He absolutely loves the time spent with Jo and we always see photos and videos of their adventures. As we both work these walks really help us and allow Alfie to burn off energy, which he has in abundance. We also use Jo for Home pet sitting when we go on holiday where she also looks after Maisie the cat. This service is fantastic and neither animals are stressed from going into kennels and Catherine’s. Jo is wonderful with both animals and she regularly spends longer than her booked hours ensuring that Alfie especially is cleaned after their walks. Jo has been a great help for our family when it’s come to caring for our girls. We moved to the area for work early last year and we had no one to walk our dogs during the day, thankfully we found Jo. Jo has been very flexible when it’s cone to our needs, we would give her our work schedules and she would work out the best time to fit in a walk the girls for us around her schedule. Jo givies both the professionalism you would expect from a business, and the personal touch you would expect from a family friend. Our Yorkshire terrier is very sceptical and a bit nervous around new people, Jo was so patient with her and quickly earned her trust. The girls love it when Jo comes around. You can tell she enjoys what she does and genuinely cares for animals. We knew Jo would be perfect for us when she came around for a meeting before we took her on. I was going away on holiday for 2 weeks and i needed a place for my rabbits to stay, I started to look around and then i found Leading the way small animal boarding. Jo was very quick to answer any requests and by having the free consultation allows you to look round and see where your pets would be staying. Jo looks after your pets so well you an really see the care and time that she puts into them, she got along with my rabbits perfectly and treats them the best she can. My rabbits got fresh veg everyday and i loved to get updated emails to see how they are getting on. The pens are lovely and spacious with a range of bigger pens for a family of pets and smaller pens for a single pet. i wouldn't hesitate booking here and you get so much for your money, i am sure to book here again More...
