Nikki and her team did an amazing job of caring for my dogs needs whilst at day care. Long walks to tire him out and back to her home for plenty of cuddles. Nikki has helped me so much. She’s knowledgeable, friendly, kind and very very good at what she does. In just a couple of visits Nicki helped us with our rescue Roxy.No more pulling on the lead or lunging at cats or small dogs and she showed us how to help Roxy overcome her seperation anxiety. I moved my dog to this daycare facility after the previous daycare he was at was not suitable. He shook and scratched to get out when I dropped him off and I did not want to leave him in such distress. After looking around for another daycare I brought him to Nikki and her team. After a consultation and I was happy to leave him there. After his first visit he used to pull me to the front door and barged into the house. I was so happy knowing my dog was happy and in safe hands. Nikki was very flexible as my hours could change so some days he would not need to be there and other days I needed him to be booked in with very short notice. Nikki is amazing Our dog Mac is a springer with some really significant anxiety problems when meeting other dogs that turns him from a gentle gorgeous dog into an angry badly behaved boy. Nikki used to board him for us when we went away and he melted into her home of dogs as if it was his only home. He would rush up to her front door wagging his tail and be full of joyful expectation. The only place in the world where He was happy in doggy company thanks to Nikki and her ‘whispering ways’. It was so reassuring for us whilst we were away that Mac was in such great hands that we completely trusted. In fact when we came back from hols we struggled to get him out of her house and home! I have known Nikki for many years. She gave me the most wonderful help with my reactive dog, who chased joggers, bikes and was just generally a very nervous little soul. With Nikki's expert advice, we were able to transform her into a model citizen, who I could walk off lead and at ease past the Parkrun and no doubt past the Tour de France too! Nikki is one of the best in the business. There are so many trainers out there who charge a lot and do very little, but Nikki’s expertise, her patience and her gentleness with Charlie (and us! ) made a very significant difference from our first session. Charlie was a particularly nervous dog, which we came to understand required some delicate handling and confidence - Nikki walked us (literally) through the entire process on how to help build Charlie’s confidence and relaxation around cars. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with you all regarding the excellent Leader of the Pack services. We have a 1 year old Border Collie 'Buddy'.

Buddy is a very loving and 'special' dog, working with children in our school and being a very prominent part of our daily lives. Buddy had one problem.... he didn't want to come back off the lead, although he wouldn't run away he just didn't want to be caught.

I researched a dog behaviourist and found Nikki.

Nikki took us on an amazing journey, we worked together for a 5 week period and cured Buddy of all real problems. I was sceptical of dog trainers, having not benefitted from puppy classes because Buddy wont work for treats, I was reluctant to find outside help. However Nikki has not just helped us educate Buddy but moreover she has educated us. Her approach is not about 'training' your dog but more about giving you the tools to train your pet. She assessed buddy at the st James Park and commented on how sociable and friendly he was, she then spent three hours with us going over her theories and philosophies on understanding dog behaviour, some of her comments initially were strange for me, but in time it became apparent that his naughty ways were not him but it was with us. The wrong message we were giving him by 'spoiling' him and treating him almost like a child. Once we got more respect, lead walks became controlled and relaxed, he became more affectionate (if that was possible) and he seemed so much happier. Dividing 'play' time, 'work' time and 'loving' time. Nikki's methods of helping with recall were both educational and fun. If you had told me that Buddy would be the way he is today in just 5 weeks I would have laughed at you but he is. He runs and swims and returns each and every time. He is happy to please and he seems so focused during work time but yet so sweet on down time. I am writing this entry because I feel really compelled to share my story. Nikki has taken us on a fun filled journey, we have laughed and sometimes even cried but I can honestly say she is different, she is not a dog trainer she is an amazing inspirational person who connects and understands our hairy friends in a way that I have never experienced before. Leader of the pack is amazing - we had a last minute panic searching for dog services that were suitable for over night stays that were lovely, kind, safe and of course amazing with pooches. We couldn't have come to a better place to leave our two boys. We will definitely be back, and hopefully for a schnoodle groom soon too!! Thankyou so so much. Fully recommend. Our nearly 1 year old is a high energy active boy and needs lots of attention to keep him from becoming destructive. I was given leader of the pack details from a friend at a point when i was close to breaking, as much as i love our boy Murphy i couldn't cope anymore with coming home to a recked house whether id been gone for an hr or at work all day, i thought we were going to have to give him up. This broke my heart. I felt like i was doing everything wrong and making him unhappy, i felt hopeless.
Nikki came and assessed Murphy and gave me that hope back, she made me feel like i was good enough for this fur baby and that we could make it work. We decided the best way forward was day care.
Murphy has gone from destroying everything in sight when left for half an hour to been able to last 4/5 hours alone without touching a thing, he is more independent and well behaved in his own company than i thought would ever be possible. He comes home shattered after a day of playing and hanging out with the leader of the pack gang. He couldn't be happier to spend most of his week with them.
I am so grateful to the whole team for taking on our love bud when you are already so busy. You have changed our lives for the better.

My dog Vinnie has been attending leader of the pack for over a year. I rescued Vinnie from a family who had very little time for him and left him in a crate for most of the day with very little walks. During the beginning stages with Vinnie he was quite the challenge and despite what I was told from the previous owners, Vinnie struggles with separation anxiety and finds it hard to be left alone. Leader of the pack have been amazing in supporting me throughout my journey with Vinnie. We have received both dog behaviour consultations as well as doggy day care. He attends doggy day care two days a week and Vinnie is always excited to go and I know that he is well cared for when he is there. The team are very good with updating me about all the fun things he gets up to with his friends or on the rare occasions when he hasn't been himself. Vinnie is now a much happier dog and is a lot more settled and better behaved. Leader of the pack are truly amazing and I can't thank them enough for all of their hard work x More...

We used Nikki when we first got our pup to help out with training. She gave us great direction on issues we were having and helped us build training techniques that we learnt together. I still go back to Nikki for training and advanced learning because we enjoy it so much and like to inject new skills for us and our dog. There’s is always more to learn and achieve. My dog has been going to Leader of the Pack for almost as long as we've had him. He stays with Nikki and the team one day a week and has a pack walk another, and always comes back well exercised, socialised and content. I wouldn't trust our boy to anyone else as I know we can rely on the team to look after him.
